I got the Sonos Playbar for 2 reasons: 1) to boost the sound from my Samsung 46 in LCD TV 2) to have multi room sound with my existing Sonos Play 3 set-up It delivers on both - the sound quality is excellent, it's easy to set up and looks great. However it's very pricey and you could get nearly 3 Sonos Play 3 units for the same price, so unless you need it for your TV AND to act as a sound system, you might want to consider alternatives. That said, I love it and wouldn't be without it now.

This is my first sound bar and I love it. The sound quality is fantastic. The ability to expand the system is the main reason I purchased the Sonos sound bar.

I've always been a very loyal fan of the BOSE brand, and I bought the solo 5 sound bar and it was just ok, so i decided to get the soundtouch 300 and what a Big disappointment, although it had ARC input and Bluetooth, still didn't sound to my expectations, (I'm a musician and sound engineer) so I decided to go back to best buy and checked a demo of the SONOS PLAYBAR that was on display and I was BLOWN away with the clarity and performance in general, I've heard a lot about the brand before but never tried it before, the real test was trying it at home, so I returned the BOSE one and took the SONOS playbar, which by the way they are the same price and took it home...Absolutely AMAZING sound and performance, it works seamless with my wifi network, that was another issue i had with the Bose soundtouch 300, with the SONOS, the connectivity was just perfect, I downloaded the main app to all my devices at home and couldn't be happier, I'll be a fan to SONOS now, THANK YOU!

It is part of a Dolby sound system in a large living room, which includes a sub-woofer and two Play 3's. It works extremely well and I am happy with the purchase.

The sound bar and entire Sonos system is absolutely amazing I can hear arrows whistling over my head on war movies and late at night watching a scary movie hearing the monster getting closer until you can almost feel it breathing on the back of your neck is truly a hair raising experience I would most definitely recommend this product to anyone not only is the sound quality extremely crisp and easy to install The fact that it's wireless and you don't have the mess of multiple wires tangled up that alone is worth having these speakers in your home. Now you do need power cords to run the speakers but I found another trick under the back of each one of the speakers is a small slot that you can talk your fingers right under the speakers from the backside allowing you to hide the Power cords under the speakers themselves completely camouflaging all wires to your system and if you buy the Sonos speaker stands they have a way to completely make your wires go away and that to me is Quality by itself and all I have to say Sonos is thank you for helping me fight my war against wires.

Sonos Wifi Speakers are fantastic, being able to use up to 32 speakers around the household and also the abilility to use them assurround sound is great.

Bought this system and fell in love with the technology it has !!! Great sound just from the playbar alone. Getting the bass now and speakers for a few rooms.

We purchased the soundbar and sub to replace out old soundsystem. The 2 together sound phenomenal. the soundbar by itself is better than my old system.

As a sound bar, I find it just okay. Granted, we don't have the sub-woofer yet...we have to save up a little more for that. But the sound from the sound bar alone isn't what I expected...it's nothing spectacular. And adjusting the sound on it using our remote is a little tricky. The sound level shown on the TV never matches the level we're actually hearing. Sometimes a 6 or 7 is just fine, but sometimes we have to turn it up to 42 to be heard decently. Then if you turn the level down to zero, there's still sound coming out, so you have to go below zero to actually turn the sound off. I've read about this from others, so I thought was ready for it, but it's still an adjustment. I was used to knowing how loud the sound would actually be at a 10 or 11, but now it's a gamble. When used just for music as part of our total Sonos system, though, it's spectacular! I love the total immersion of the entire Sonos system. Would I recommend it? Right now, no....until I hear it with the sub-woofer. If I had to do it over again, I'd just get another Sonos speaker.

The SONOS sound bar was very easy to setup and provides excellent sound. This replaced an older surround sound system with five speakers and certainly provides a better sound experience and has a much cleaner look with this one component. Not having to use a receiver by connecting directly to the TV was a big plus also. Highly recommended and plan to install a second setup in another room in our house.

I've had many soundboard and this one sounds better than any by far. If you are familiar with Sonos this is just as easy to use/hookup.

Extremely pleased with the sound bar so much that I have already added the subwoofer and two Play 1's to enjoy surround sound. The sound bar adds crystal clarity to the tv audio and has features that allow you to tweak the audio (I.e., nighttime mode). Sonos' support staff has been excellent in helping me understand how best to setup and configure the system. One downside to the Sonos is that when playing DVD's where the audio is in certain formats (I.e., DTS) Sonos cannot handle that signal type and therefore it must be converted to an alternate format. Most of the Samsung blu-ray players and a few Sony players will do this automatically after you setup the player initially. Sonos was extremely helpful in addressing this issue and showing me what to do! Another great feature of Sonos is the ease of controlling the system. I have both Apple and Android devices and Sonos plays well with both. Sonos uses your home wifi to stream music from various sources (I.e., Pandora, Spotify, etc.) and therefore I can have music playing anywhere where I have a Sonos speaker(s) with minimal effort. Just a really nice setup. One last comment, there is a definite difference is sound quality when comparing Sonos to the Bose Soundtouch 300.......I do not regret having gone with Sonos.

The Play Bar is easy to set up. Once you hear the sound from the Play Bar you will be pleased. Even the speech is clear. Best investment I made for audio.

Purchased as a gift for my husband. We both love it. Sound is crisp and fills the room. Very easy to set up and operate. Bestbuy offered an additional 5,000 reward zone points if I purchased the woofer as well and because the item not going on sale. But they have not given me the points even though it is on my receipt.

wasn't sure we needed this expensive system but after a couple days wondered why didn't I bought it earlier.

Easy multiroom sound system. Set up in less than 30 minutes for 3 rooms. Then switched it to surround sound for tv and added an extra for the bedroom.

I recently purchased the sound bar. I plugged it in and it worked no muss no fuss. I would recommend Sonus products to anyone\everyone

Clarity and loud! Music makes you feel your in a club. Movies and Tv sounds better than any movie theater I've been in! Well Worth It!

Although the price is kind of steep, this soundbar is well worth the money. I combined it with the SONOS subwoofer, and the sound these two items put out together is incredible. It is a very crisp and clean sounding output. I highly recommend this product, and all other SONOS products, to everyone looking for an upgraded home theater or music experience.

Sonos put the "hi" back in hi-fidelity. Enjoy your music and movies LOUD again. Deep rich bass with crisp high's. Is it pricey? Yes, BUT IT'S WORTH IT!
