We love the Sonos system! The sound bar has amazing sound and controls the whole system!

I/we love this sound bar, I have returned to purchase the extra speakers to put in all the rooms of our house. Sonos app, for all of our toys have made it so easy for someone to listen to music in one room and others to watch tv with surround sound in another. My children always tell me how technology challenged I am, and even I have figured this all out with no troubles at all. LOVE IT

We've had this for about six months. When you open the box you instantly like the design and feel of it. Good guide on set up, but there is a learning curve to fully understanding the capabilities. After that it is super easy and fun to use. We added another pair of speakers and it took about five minutes to set up.

Sonos really hit it on the head!! The system sounds great & anyone can hook it up. It is so easy! It is so cool to go from room to room & not miss a beat. The fact that you can listen to something different in every room is awesome! I can't say enough good things about this system. You can start out small & build the system as you can afford it. Absolutley recommend to anyone!

the playbar has very good sound, is a very good foundation for a great sound system. has a nice modern design so its looks great in your living space.

Sonos system is amazing and the sound quality is excellent. Love the way it is always "on" in the background vs. standalone bluetooth speakers.

Anyone that can afford this speaker should get it. The sound is great. I wish it could be wireless, but when it is all hooked together, it is great.

I am very pleased with the soundbar and surround sound system. i purchased it to watch movies and listen to music. The software is easy to use.

The sound bar gives us clear amazing sound right below our TV and hangs off of our TV mount flawlessly.

I love my Sonos system. I just bought a PlayBar and Play base (wanted to decide which one was best for me), a PlaySub, and two Play:1 speakers for surrounds. I don't have a lot of space where it all went, so I love that the pieces don't overpower the room looks-wise. And the sound is surprising very good. I did end up going with the PlayBar instead of the PlayBase. The PlayBase's treble was too much. Tinny isn't quite the right word, but it was a bit piercing. The PlayBar's treble is more natural sounding. I don't have it wall mounted, it just sits on the cabinet below the TV and works just fine that way. The price is worth it, I think. You aren't going to get as good sound as you could get from a true home theater system, but the compromise of not having to have wires running across your room and having a cleaner look is worth it. I also really love the integration with Google Play and Spotify. Apparently it used to have integration with Audible, but it stopped working in 2015. I can find a statement that says Audible and Sonos are committed to getting it working by the end of summer 2018, so hopefully soon it will be back up. All in all, I recommend the pieces, except the PlayBase.

*Amazing sound, can be used as stand alone or with other Sonos speakers. *Compatible with Alexa devices: Alexa device can connect & play on this speaker. FireTV Cube is also compatible. *If other Sonos are connected to this unit, it makes for GREAT surround sound. *Have noticed a few technical glitches with certain apps and devices where I cannot control audio volume. FYI- does not appear to work with Roku or PlayStation devices. *If you have an issue and have any sort of entry level technical knowledge- contacting Sonos support will not be useful to you.

I love the Songs brand and this sounder does not disappoint! Great quality sound and works with other connected Songs speakers!

Before buying I was a little wary of buying Sonos because of all the comments about connection issues. I didn't experience any issue whatsoever with setup. The Playbar was up and running within 10 minutes of installing the app. I just added 2 Play 1's for surround sound and couldn't be happier with the results.

Sound quality and ease of setup and use are a big plus. Reference material a little light though for moe detailed questions. Highly recommend.

First had trouble getting the soundbar to connect through my tablet to my router, never did work, so I tried my cellphone, and connected right away. No problems since. Great sound out of this beauty, lots better than my last sound bar by far, you won't regret the sonos system. Next purchase is the sub, then my system is complete

This sound bar puts out amazing sound no matter how high or low you go. Crystal clear throughout the ranges. I would buy again

I really like this product for many reasons= sound is great, was very easy to setup/add to through the app, the app is great and can be downloaded on many devices, its wireless, it works well with many other apps (Pandora, Beats, etc) and many many more reasons. I do not like this product for a couple of reasons= you cannot play all (or most actually) of your iTunes music due to some protection issue (??), and any video played through an apple TV has 1 second breaks in the audio every couple of minutes (this can be with iTunes movies, Netflix, Etc). With a Beats subscription you can listen to any song. This has actually replaced the need for iTunes music causing me not to care about the first point any longer. However, most people will be upset to find this out and will not want to pay another $100/year for a Beats subscription.

Very happy with the Sonos Playbar. It has clear treble, is loud enough for my medium-sized living room, gives excellent dialogue from the TV, and is very handsome. I also use it for music and the voices are crisp and clean. A tremendous improvement on the Samsung TV's meager sound. I plan to buy the accompanying subwoofer at some point (but it's pricey) and get even better sound, especially from action movies and rock music. For now, I can live with the Playbar alone, as the sound is very good, even amazing considering how small it is. I have audiophile equipment at my primary home, so if you are used to that, be advised that this is a sound bar, not a 5.1 or 7.1 system with five separate speakers placed at the right distances, along with a subwoofer, all hooked to a powerful receiver. It's a compromise for space reasons; thus, you would be fairer to compare it with other sound bars, not a real system, although it does come with options for more speakers, if you have the space and the money. One more thing: If you're not a genuine techie, you can rely on the Sonos support number. The fellow I dealt with was awesome. He guided me though every step -- remember, it works through your Wifi router -- even helping me program my Infinity remote. Couldn't have asked for better. He had me up and running in less than a half-hour. Give the Sonos staff an A++++.

I purchased the play at after reading positive reviews. While the sound quality is good, the voice does not match the lip movements on the picture. This is not a problem related to the television, as the synchronize Asian works well with my older soundbar.considering that the play bar cost almost 3 times as much as my old sound bar, this is an unacceptable shortcoming. I have tried various adjustments on the television and the Sonos device without significant improvement. There are several online forums dealing with the same issue, so my problem does not appear to be unique I would not make this purchase again.
