The sound quality and build are one the best I have seen. The setup is simple and quick. It paired very easily to my TV remote. The apps are excellent and very easy to follow. I added the sub which delivers really excellent bass and lows. Then added surrounds, now movies are filling the living room. One warning, its hard to stop buying Sonos speakers, they are just too much fun to setup and sound quality being delivered in such a small package is unreal. Plus no cabling mess anymore.

This one speaker replaced are old surround set up in the living room and sounds almost as good without having speaker wires all over the place can't wait to get the sub and 2of the play 3's maybe even the play 5's... They are expensive but in our opinions totally worth it

I purchased the Subwoofer, Soundbar, boost and two Play 3 speakers of this series product. Price: this system is as expensive as the more traditional BOSE branded system at bestbuy, and honestly my husband and I were between either, but after looking at this and testing it in store it exceeds our needs for a 5.1 system and gives us expandable flexibility in the future. Setup: Tried to setup using the phone app with difficulty, reset everything and chose to setup via PC, PC setup once all parts were in place including boost connected to router it took about 10-20 minutes Experience: Honestly we love it, we were able to pick up all the pieces at our local store and setup easily, and this system is great for all genres of music we've tested on it too. And there's no speaker wires everywhere in our living room. The quality of sound for music and movies is so great and I'm really impressed how everything was set up so easily

Purchased as my first component in the Sonos lineup and am very pleased with the sound. Looking to build upon the Playbar in the future. Best sound out there and very flexible with ability to utilize Sonos app!

It sounds great, it was easy to set up, and it has a mount to go with it that makes it mount on the wall beautifully. I have paired this with other speakers from Sonos so that it created surround sound.

Was hesitant buying the sounder but am so glad made this decision as it is worth the price. It just sounds great and pairing with Play 1's is so easy to convert to a 5.1 system. Music sounds great too.

This is a great setup and it is really use to get ready to listen to. Sonos are not the cheapest but not the most expensive either but considering setup, and the quality of sound I love the sound.

This sound bar provides excellent sound. It allows me to here the tv without cranking the volume at night. I couldn't do that before. I like that it ties into my existing Sonos system and can expand it to surround sound if I want. I am not an audiophile and I understand there are better sound quality providers out there but this is more than "good enough". It is a little pricey when compared to other sound bars but it is not just an attachment for my tv. I use it as part of my whole house sound system as often as I use it for tv.

I have had Marantz receiver/amp and definitive technology then mirage speakers for years. I move frequently and the setup, wiring, and wire mess were always a nightmare - but I had a significant investment and could not mentally part with my components. I finally took the plunge and bought the Sonos Playbar and 2 Play 1s. I donated my old hardware to Goodwill the next day. the packaging, the ease of setup, the ease of selecting music or music source, the product build, material, and sound quality, integration with TV and remotes - AMAZING. I have since bought 6 more Play 1s, 1 Play 3, and the Sub. I now have home theater I can pick up and move in minutes, and, much to my surprise, I have music throughout the house, all the time; I forgot how much I enjoyed music. The only downfall - SONOS is currently privately held. if not, I would be a stockholder.

Great sound! Mounted right beneath our TV. Our installers were able to set up and get running very quickly. Easy to control with the Sonos app. We have surround sound with all of the speaker!

I replaced an old Bose system and I never thought the sound on this system could be better. I was wrong! The Sonos system is nothing short of awesome. I purchased the soundbar along with the sub woofer and rear speakers. The setup was easy using the Sonos app. The system is expandable to every room in the house. The system is not cheap but you get what you pay for.

This is a great product, easy to setup and use and has amazing sound quality. The only drawback is that it does not have bluetooth so you need to use the Apple TV (or anything else that renders on TV) which is a bummer.

Tried Bose and liked the quality but after trying out Sonos I can honestly say that the wireless options and sound quality have me sold. I have bought additional speakers for the house and business. I hate wires and this hooks up in about 2 minutes.

Read a lot of technical and customer reviews and listened to the speakers at Best Buy. Then I purchased the SONOS PlayBar to anchor our surround sound system and to listen to mostly Rock music and the Blues. Could not be more impressed with how well the SONOS system works! Extremely easy to set up. Great for listening to music, watching movies and sports. The surround sound is very good. My wife thought she would not hear any difference between the new and old systems [Onkyo receiver and 7 Yamaha speakers]. When she 1st heard some music [from another room from where the SONOS speakers are] she said she really COULD hear a significant difference in the quality of sound. We also have the SONOS Sub and 2 Play 3s. Plan to add more speakers in the future.

I finally made the leap to the wireless world of surround sound by purchasing the Sonos playbar as a first step in building the whole system. The playbar is impressive on it's own, but then I paired it with two Sonos 1s that I already had. Super sound AND without all the wires associated with other systems. I love it! So, what do you think...I went ahead and purchased the woofer two weeks later. AWESOME!! Don't mess around. Just do it!! You'll never look back!

After taking back two different sound bars with surround sound and spending hours in the store debating on the best system to purchase, I bought the sonos playbar with the sub and two surround speakers. I was skeptical at first because of this system only being able to run with wifi. The initial setup was really simple using the app on my phone. Once the speakers tuned themselves for the large room they were in, the speakers were ready to go. I was completely blown away with the sound coming out of these speakers! After listening to the sonos system, I seriously would pay twice as much for the sonos playbar and sub. There was so many times while listening to music that I would just get chills because it sounded so awesome. Watching movies with the sonos surround is quite incredible also. The way sound flies around the room is amazing! The ease of setting up the different sound settings through the app is super user friendly and being able to set the sound differently to either watch tv or listen to music is fantastic! This was one of the best purchases that I have ever made!

I moved into an older house and didn't want to run wires for speakers. A friend has a Sonos system and suggested I look into it. I was extremely skeptical because other sound bars I'd heard were terrible and I'd not had good luck with wireless speakers. The Sonos system addresses both concerns. The speaker sounds great for TV watching and the system setup was a breeze. I can now listen to my TV (single optical cable) and my internet applications like Spotify and Pandora. Definitely recommend saving money on overpriced TV's and spending it on a Sonos system.

I don't even know where to begin to describe how much I love this device. I have it paired with the Sonos subwoofer and the sound is amazing. I do not have the rear channels, just the bar, but you would swear when watching a movie there were rear channel speakers. I also was able to get rid of my wall speakers and all the wires and my receiver so the room has a much cleaner look. Another great feature of the Sonos is you can play music from your smart phone, tablet or computer directly to the Sonos devices. All you need to do is download the Sonos app. It is easy to set up and configure and you can add all of your music apps, like streaming XM, local radio and Pandora. The sound playing music is excellent. I read great things about Sonos and it does not disappoint. I highly recommend the sound bar paired with the subwoofer.

Sonos is a fantastic speaker system that allows you to add pieces to your wireless system. It is easy to set up and works great throughout the house. We are listening to a lot more music now and is so enjoyable.

what an incredible piece of equipment. Easy set up, fabulous sound. Expensive but worth the price. It may not be the right sound bar if you are an audiophile, but great for streaming music. You will pay twice as much to get a better sound.
