Awesome receiver for the price. I wanted a bluetooth receiver for the garage, and this is way more than I expected. Bluetooth, USB plug in and even an app to control receiver from your phone or tablet! It's great!

Needed to upgrade from my old non-HD receiver. Connected with Bose acoustimass 6 speakers and new HD projector. Excellent sound and picture pass through.

This was my first 7.2 receiver which I have paired with my Bose 5.1 Acoustimass system. I can play my iPhone contents with ease too. It was very easy to setup and here I have my own movie theater at home !

I'm completely happy for the price and also for the quality, I always buy Sony products it is giving me years of pleasure to own and to show to my friends, specially when they hear the sound and the clarity.

This was a hidden gem that I found to replace an aging Onkyo. It's pretty close to plug and play with my existing speakers and the hardest thing was tracking my existing speakers wires for proper wiring to the new product. The sound quality of this Sony is clear and robust with many selection options for concert, movie theater etc. It has pass thru tech so you don't Have to run it if you don't wish to, but I prefer the excellent sound compared to my flat screen's weak speakers. The product is user friendly, supports 7.2 surround (2 subs but you can use a single), and gets heavy use in my home. In the past two months we have used it, there have been no quirks or issues with it! Highly recommended.

Bought to replace an old Sony DVD receiver combo. It signicantly improved the sound quality with the existing speakers, but this receiver required an active subwoofer instead of the existing passive SW.

What a great tuner. So many sound options still getting used to it. Can't beat the price. Though I wish it had a built in preamp for my record player

the surround sound is great, but a little dissapionted that the owners manual didn't give directions on how to use the receiver

Does everything I need it to do and allowed me to upgrade to where I can switch between devices much easier. Handy tip: Plug your chromecast right into the back and it works perfectly for streaming

This receiver is a great purchase. It delivers deep rich and crisp sound whether you're playing a game watching a movie or listening to music. I would highly recommend it for your entertainment system.

just a little annoying when it connected to my Mac Mini and haven't read any settings to select when i wanted it to connect. over all. decent product for the money.

Bought this item to be my sound system for a projector and it has worked perfectly. Great price for all the options. Got it on sale for 279.99. Paired it with some energy speakers and sounds great.

The negative with this item is the manual; it tells you NOTHING. Fortunately we have had the Geek Squad to assist us.

This receiver is great for the price. My last Sony receiver lasted 20 plus years, and I am looking forward to an even better experience with this bad boy. Built in Bluetooth enables easy song play. Paired up with Klipsch speakers, this ting sounds like I am at the theater. Go get it, you cant go wrong, especially for the price.

I purchased the Sony receiver because the receiver in my older Samsung DVD Home Theater All-In-One purchase back in 2007 was having problems with it's display no longer working. This lead to problems in trying to figure out what audio input was selected, so I needed an upgrade. I installed the receiver and tested the sound. Noticed a VAST improvement on the audio quality coming over the speakers immediately. The only problem I encountered was that the subwoofer I had could not connect to the receiver because it used different wiring connectors. Once I upgraded to a Pioneer subwoofer, this resolved the problem and now I the base even works better than before. Highly recommended!!!

This is a great entry level receiver. It has enough inputs for a modest surround system, LOTS of power, and jacks for two subwoofer which is not typical for receivers in this price range.

Don't get me wrong I love this unit. The power is more then what I need but it's very easy to adjust the setting to fit your set-up. It sounds great, looks great, and I know it will last a long time. The only complaint I have is the remote. Doesn't work with a Sony BD player I have. The old Sony receiver remote did just fine.

We have our Sony A/V Home Theater Receiver hooked up to blue-ray, 4K Ultra HD amazing picture as well as surround sound, DVD and an old style turntable, all works great and on just one remote.

Awesome a/v receiver for your home. I love the a/b speaker switching feature the most, this way I can have music on my patio as well. I also love the song hd-s sound quality for watching tv.

For an intermediate AV amp this performs well. Setup was particularly easy. I have been a fan of Sony products for some time now and this one does not disappoint.
