Doesn't meet the Sony brand standard

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I owned multiple Sony TVs at varying price points over the years, this is by far the lowest quality Sony product I've ever owned. I purchased the 2022 version of this model and that model had 120hz, this model is only 60hz and the difference is noticeable. I have also noticed that the 2025 model is absent Dolby Vision. So were seeing a downward trend in quality at Sony. I hope someone at Sony notices that customers are noticing this disturbing trend and hope they will act to save their reputation.

Because of this, it features a 60Hz refresh rate and standard HDR support. For users looking for the 120Hz refresh rate and the enhanced contrast of Dolby Vision that you enjoyed previously, we typically recommend moving into our BRAVIA 7, 8, or 9 series, which utilize our more advanced XR processors to deliver those premium features.
Please be assured that your comments regarding this "downward trend" have been noted. Feedback like yours is vital as we plan our future lineups and strive to maintain the reputation for quality that you have trusted for years.

Sony Bravia 3 43 Inch TV

The colors are fantastic. I normally buy Samsung TV's but I decided to try Sony this time. The price was reasonable and I believe I would definitely buy Sony again.

I looked on line first then called and spoke with a very nice BB employee. He was very helpful to an 81 year old, somewhat technically challenged, lady. I did the rest on line and it was delivered the next day as promised. Excellent service.

A smaller, new version of the TV we have in the living room. Our previous TV was the same physical size but had a 32" screen. This 43" takes up the same space.

You don't need 4K signal for this even though it is capable for 4k, and the TV doesn't force you to 'upscale' 2K to 4K. The picture and sound are amazing. I am enjoying it. My Netflix shows are much more interesting now.

In need of an upgrade
