Sony Bravia Issue with ESPN app

I was planning to buy a 43" Samsung TV. The salesperson at BestBuy talked me into buying this Sony Bravia...I was rather easily persuaded because the picture quality on this TV appeared substantially better than all the rest of the ones on display. However, out of the box the picture quality was so unnatural and pretty bad. No instruction manuals comes with it, I had to watch a few youtube videos to adjust the picture quality. Do not be misled by how good TV screens appear in a showroom. I have subscriptions to Amazon Prime, Youtube Premium, and ESPN+. There is a major issue with the ESPN app on Sony Bravia TVs...after 45 minutes on ESPN app, TV freezes and shuts down, you have to unplug and replug to restart the TV. Everyone has this problem with Sony Bravia TVs and Sony has no solution for it! If you call Sony support, they will tell you to uninstall and reinstall the app which is a complete waste of time, the same issue still exists. I wish I bought a Samsung TV.

Perfect for the Price

This SONY 43" TV fit the bill -- while not the top in technology, it's perfect for our old space. We'll get to see a crisp, clear picture from all angles.

Great Picture Quality convenient features

The remotes quick access buttons are very convient for accessing streaming services, and the microphone feature makes it easy to find what you want to watch on the streaming services that you pay for. Overall a great purchase and a huge upgrade.

Picture quality and clarity are dependent on signal or streaming capabilities, but generally good contrast, color saturation, and definition. Sound is ok with TV speakers, but recommend a sound bar to get a better experience.
