It replaced a 13 year old 32" Sony. Having Google TV is a game changer versus having to plug in an external media hub/box. I have to use the wireless connection, but apps stream without buffering. Picture quality is great. Sound is good, but will be buying a soundbar anyway during BF sales. Typical, high quality product from Sony. Can be put together by one person, but always easier with a second. Just take your time and it can be done.

For gaming on the XBOX the HDR10, 4K, 60FPS at 120hz is just awesome and 4K movies just pop! The internal sound is very good and the remote is bluetooth so does not have to point at the TV to work any function, plus the voice control on the remote works great. The apps are plentyful and kept updated. Nothing bad I can say about this TV!

But after using it I can say that the tv is awesome. It has an Ethernet port, so buffering is a thing of the past with this tv. There are tons of built in apps included and the remote has a voice function so you can search seamlessly. The overall picture quality is nice as well. The setup was a breeze and the remote has a calibration feature that helps set up the tv for each room depending on the layout and the furniture present.

The processor is also a lot faster while operating TV channel and programs. It is a great TV for the price. I ended up returning this particular TV because it froze on several occasions in first 10 days. Also more on personal experience when comparing its picture quality and sound with my previous Sony 43" 800XE that I was replacing was not as good. If I didn't have plans to upgrade to another larger size Sony TV I would have just exchanged the X85K and kept it.

I upgraded to this from an older Vizio and WOW what a difference! Picture is crisp and the sound is surprisingly good without the sound bar. I LOVE the remote control. It is slim with a great grip and feels good in your hand. I only use the apps on this TV- I don't have it hooked up to cable and I don't game on it, so I can't rate fairly for that, but watching NetFlix or Peacock or whatever app you have, you won't be disappointed! For the price it just can't be beat.

But I bought this as a TV for my office space, which doubles as a space for my retro games, gaming PC, and Xbox Series X. I have a Vizio P55-F1 from 2018 in my living room, which is a bit dated but still gets the job done. The picture quality between that TV and this one really isn't that big of a jump, so this TV didn't exactly blow my hair back. BUT it's a really nice set, and it'll be great for gaming in my office.
