Only problem is 2 burnt out pixels, but I’m under warranty. I can’t say enough good things about it especially for the price. Also it’s tough to find a tv this powerful and not gigantic or tiny. It’s great all around.

I bought the Sony because it got avery good rating in consumer reports magazine. It was a little more than I had wanted to spend bought I went for it anyway and haven't regretted it. Excellent picture quality and easy to set-up. Yes I would recommend this set.

I kinda wish I had realized this used a VA type LED display panel though. Picture quality off to the sides degrades rapidly, and not all reviewers online mentioned how bad it is off-axis.

Combining Sony TV and Verizon cable is hard to do

Combining it with a Verizon STB has been difficult to do well. In order to control STB I need to use an older verizon remote. The new one will not work properly. The Sony remote does not provide access to the Verizon menu and guide. It's all very confusing.
