Bought this for my bedroom. Great picture and streaming capability. Did the setup myself with no problems!!! Could not pass up the black Friday price. So glad I made this purchase.

Are used to be a diehard Samsung but I’ve recently change the Sony their quality is unsurpassed and I love the fact that it is an android TV !!

Outstanding clarity. Great sound. Perfect size for my living room. Looks great. Paid a bit more than what I had planned, but I have not been disappointed in the product thus far.

this was a gift to my parents..they have not complained at all (which is very common for them), so I assume everything is going well. I am a huge fan of sony products.

Very nice TV for the price. Bought it for my Mother and she loves it! She had a hard time seeing the golf ball on her old set. This is important to her as she loves golf. Seeing the ball with this set is not a problem!!

Thankful for recommendations of Michael. Glad I purchased sound bar and rotating wall mount. Geek installation was smooth and informative. Love the Sony TV and size above the fireplace. Sharp picture and good color.

I went into Best Buy to purchase a Vizio TV in the same class category. I asked a salesman to assist me in locating the Vizio TV. Long of the short, the salesman sold me on this Sony. The color quality is over saturated and does not make a true picture display. After a month of having the TV, the smart features began to lag. I pressed the Google button, and the TV takes 15 seconds to respond. I tried turning the TV off, and 45 seconds later, the TV finally turned off. This thing is extremely glitchy. I wish I would have never listened to the Best Buy salesman and just purchased from my gut. This is by far the worst TV I have ever owned. Unfortunately, the problems gradually got worse leading up to after my return date. Just as a side note, I noticed the salesman had a Sony logo under his name on his Best Buy name tag. Note to Best Buy, leave the biased salesman to corporate stores, if you're going to sell a variety of brands, leave the bias out of it. I feel the guy knew what he was talking about, but now I realize I was just another sale in his checklist.

Crisp, clear picture, great side without extra speakers, preloaded with most of the streaming apps you are likely to need. Oddly, no WPS option for connecting to WiFi.

Easy setup and great picture. Sound is adequate for the bedroom. I mounted it at 53 inches (from the bottom measurement) and should have gone about 1/2 a foot higher.

making tv's too smart for normal people. tv ok after got it set up. Should just have to turn it on and watch instead of all the other stuff you have to do.

The Bravia X800G has the expected Sony picture quality (excellent) and surprisingly good audio (I had planned to add a soundbar, but determined that one is not really needed). The biggest problem with this set is the lack of a comprehensive user’s manual, in print or online. One must spend hours setting what should be simple settings because of the lack of a guide. The obvious question is why doesn’t Sony create one. It “ain’t rocket science.”

Easy setup, picture is outstanding, colors don't change as you move from one side of the room to the other as our old tv did. Very pleased with the sound, haven't found it necessary to hook up the sound bar.

It was easy to unpack easy to put together it fit in the furniture in my bedroom just right and the sound from the speakers were great even though I bought a Sony sound bar with sequin eyes with my TV very well

I love everything about the tv, but when I purchased it, the tv wasn’t the price on the internet and I still had to purchase another remote. All open box prices should match your websites’ pricing!

Being a “Tech Guy” I realized how much i was missing without an Android Tv, especially This Sony x800g series, this Tv is out of this world after using it for about two months we love it , i bought another one but 43 after few days. I could spend hours writing about all the features but with Built in Google Chromecast and uPnP its a killer, i cast slideshows, videos , Youtube,Netflix, Hulu, etc from any computer or phone, side effect i gained 8 pounds after purchasing these TV, they are fun and enjoyment unlimited if you are Techy, Ah also i installed TinyCam ip viewer and we can monitor the baby and all the ip cameras with a TV app. Just awesome. I tecommend this Tv.

I am very pleased that I bought this tv. I really anted the 55 inch but it was not available in my area. I am impressed and am happy with this 49 inch.

What else is their to say? Sony knocks it out of the park again! Best tv for the money hands down! Realism and colors are simply incredible and this is coming from a TV snob!

When this TV goes on sale for $450 and you need a great guest room / garage TV this is the one. I bought this for my game room and patio. cant go wrong with Sony for picture and quality build.

Very happy with my new TV. Easy to set up and it’s a lot clearer than my old Sony which still works. I wanted a larger and updated version.
