Thank goodness for Best Buy tech pack, which they replaced the TV.

I have multiple Sony TV's and this replaced a 50" Sony that developed power up and shutdown issues. I believe this was due to a bad Sony software update so beware of that possibility. Otherwise, great tv brand.

Happy with TV, not with Best Buy Customer Service

Sellers were pushing for a “membership”/product insurance and also their credit card for an extra discount. It’s absurd to think that companies can’t guarantee a NEW product for more than 2 WEEKS! The credit card is a scam. According to the store representative, the transaction didn’t get through, so I didn’t receive any discount. Paid with a different card, but the Best Buy credit card arrived in the mail for nothing. Wonder why Amazon is leaving you out of business?

However I feel a bit let down by the built-speakers. You essentially need a sound bar to get the best from this TV.

I had to find that out the hard way. It will always max out at 100 Mbps. No faster. The good news is although the Bravia 3 advertising doesn't mention it having Wifi capabilities, it does come with built in Wifi. The picture is acceptable. The built in speakers are anemic at best.

We're sorry, but the BRAVIA 3's Ethernet port uses a 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX connector, meaning 10/100 Mbps. Depending on the operating environment of the network, connection speed may differ. The communication rate and quality are not guaranteed. A USB 3.0 to LAN adapter is an option to reach more than 100 Mbps over LAN. The good news is that the TV supports Wi-Fi 6.
