Is as Bright as any TV I’ve seen.c so don’t worry about that. I don’t think it needs a sound bar for average use but for a Hine theater it would. It’s definitely the best on the market.

Also it comes with Bravia core app with extremely nice interface and 10 movie credits for getting movies from this app. 10 out of 10 tv. Definitely recommend.

Great features, but constantly drops wi-fi connect

In general the unit is great in almost all details. Keeping it from getting the 5th star is one annoyance that I have yet to understand: Almost every day, I will return home to find it has lost its internet connection. The most reliable method of solving has been to forget the network and then rekey my password. Apple TV on the unit is fine and has never lost the connection, and my Orbi router is inches from the Sony. Go figure!

New Bravia even better than the old Bravia

The television is excellent. As expected, the colors it’s OLED display presents are spectacularly true, including black. My family and I really liked our 52” 2009 Sony Bravia LED television, which still worked great, but this new unit is amazingly good.

Been exploring menu systems and settings while installing different apps ever since. Nothing like spending five hours with your new tech to learn it off the bat... thank God I had the time to spend on it today to get it all set up like I want. Super happy with my purchase. I was a 'Sony only' fan way back when with audio components, but drifted away over many years. Had BestBuy Advisor come in and look at the space when I was ready to pull the trigger on a new TV (old one is 14 yrs old plasma!). I highly recommend the Advisor service BestBuy offers. I wasn't even thinking of Sony for my new TV, but REALLY HAPPY with the value, performance, and features of this one. Hope it lasts me another 15 years! :)
