I have been very happy with my new 55" Sony X900F 4K TV so far. It has very nice picture quality even when viewing weaker over the air TV stations. Give it a HD signal and it excels. I keep the picture adjustments on "standard setting" at near default- lower the color to 53 or so instead of 60. The TV coupled with a Sony Z9F soundbar and a Sony 4K Blueray DVD really works nicely. I decided not to take any chances so purchased a 5 year warranty.

We love our Sony smart tv! Sony color is outstanding. It's so easy to connect to Netflix and other apps. We viewed pictures from flash drive, too.

Awesome color. Ps4 looks phenomenal. Movies look great with crisp scenes. Minimal lag noted. Android and google assistant work wonderfully.

Picture quality on XBR55X900F is excellent as hoped, but the remote is slow, frequently does not respond (i.e. misses numbers as input for channel changes) and has no info button. Moreover, it doesn't access apps; that little circle keeps spinning and spinning and...

The tv is great, picture quality is amazing, clear & vibrant. But the android tv is operating system is lacking. Its slow on startup after the tv’s been off for more than a few hours. Other than that, its great.

This TV is a perfect size and the picture is absolutely beautiful. The colors are amazing. I love the apps and all you can do and see with it.

Purchased a 55 inch and fits perfectly on top of my fireplace. Hands down best Tv for the price point.... look forward to buying another Sony again

Well my previous 46' Sony TV bit the dust after 10 years of being the Bedroom TV. I decided to upgrade to a slightly bigger TV, the 55' 900F and am happy I did. I researched and opted for this one as I am a gamer and wanted something to compliment my PS4 PRO. Looks absolutely amazing! Such details and visuals and when the gameplay gets hectic, e.g. tons of enemies, explosions, etc the resolutions look fantastic! Even watching some Netflix/Hulu/HBONow/Prime, doesn't matter it all looks fantastic. Please buy one of these asap! So happy I did!

I’m very satisfied with purchasing this TV. The picrure quality is great. The HDR on my Xbox looks insane and so does 4k Blurays and Netflix.

Full backlit TV purchased - very good picture quality and was somewhat easy to install. Needs more packaging to help hold the screen until mounted. Had to have the soundbar ordered and delivered separate from the TV bought the same day.

This tv replaced my 50" Samsung plasma which I loved. The plasma had a great picture from any viewing angle and worked perfectly, but produced a lot of heat. This was ok most of the year, but this year the summer was very hot and I live upstairs. The plasma was like a room heater and the living room was 3degrees warmer than the bedroom. The Sony produces almost no heat and the picture is even better. I am very pleased. Getting the best picture adjustment makes a big difference. Try the settings from CNET HDTV Picture setting forum.

I've been a SAMSUNG TV supporter for at least 15 years and decide to try the SONY X900F based on my brother's recommendation and BEST BUY sale. Well although It took me a couple of days to get used to navigating this TV (as it is much different than SAMSUNG) & it was so worth it. I've had this TV for almost a year now and am still loving the features and most of all picture quality. Now I'm looking at getting the same model in a 65", best TV I've ever purchased.

Was going to get a Samsung QLED at Costco until I compared the Sony to Samsung at Best Buy. This TV picture is almost as good as an OLED. And Best Buy priced matched the sale price [1050] I found at PCmag. Realistic skin tones. Up sampling works - I use an antenna and streaming from the Internet. For the 480 antenna channels, there is a noticeable increase in quality compared to my older Sony. Even the 720 and 1080 channels look slightly better with the upsampling. Some 4k from Amazon Prime streaming is stunning.

We love the picture quality of this TV! The sound? Not so much. I'm sure everyone uses a sound bar with it. We're on our second sound bar, but we've found that either one minimizes dialog and maximizes all other sound-track. Hearing "solid" backgrounds sounds is very cool, but when it drowns our a movie's dialog, it's a drag. Neither our installer nor a follow-up visit from Geek Squad specialist resolved this issue, so we just don't use the sound bad. Bummer.

easy setup tv will all but finish it`s self. Picture is the best part crystal clear, and blu rays are well just GREAT can`t say enough.

I have spent the better part of six months researching televisions. Amazing quality, easy setup.

Needed a 55" TV for a basement remodel and we were so pleased with our 65" Sony upstairs we decided to go with the newer version for the basement. Seems to keep up with all streaming services and game systems just fine. I'm not an avid gaming enthusiast, but I don't notice any serious lag or 'jitter' when playing games or watching BlueRay on XBOX, PlayStation, etc. Movie and TV quality from Over-the-Air digital and streaming services are fantastic. Picture quality seems great to us and our guests!

Great picture once you play around with settings. It must do a great job of upscaling because over-the-air tv and Sling TV look better on this 55in than they did on my 40in. I like the way the stand looks. The biggest problem I have is that HDR and DolbyVision look horrible to me and I have to disable them. I don't know if this is the fault of the TV or all HDR. The problem is that whites are too brignt. Subtitles are blinding, even when brightness is adjusted. When HDR and DolbyVision are disabled the picture looks worse than normal 4K or HD. Therefore, I try to watch only 4K or even HD before watching something in DolbyVision. The only other small problem is that the TV settings are non-intuitive to get through. Samsung settings are more intuitive. The price is extremely high compared to other similar tvs.

It is really good with colors and brightness and also I’d say best tv so far for movies because I didn’t see anykind of color distribution in night scenes or bright scenes and also loved the android system onboard which allows you to downloads supporting video apps and i mean netflix, youtube, abc, primevideos and also slingtv and you can watch them in 4K without spending extra money for newest appletv or roku system.
