Sony to me has the best quality and overall performance. I watch everything from sports, news, netflix to 4k movies, all look great. Highly recommend this TV.

A bit disappointed

After setting it up it was dark and dull. After many phone calls they were going to exchange for a new one. Went on the internet ourselves and found the problem was the energy switch was on. Found that out ourselves. It still is not as crisp and bright as in the store. That was one reason we bought this brand

We sincerely apologize for the initial disappointment with the picture being dark and dull after setup. You correctly found the Energy Saving feature was causing the issue, which is common as store models are optimized for brightness. To achieve the crisp, bright look you saw in the store, please ensure:
Energy Saving is Off.
Set the Picture Mode to "Vivid".
Manually increase the Backlight and Brightness in the Picture Settings.
If you are still not satisfied after these adjustments, please contact our support team: https://us.esupport.sony.com/support/s/support-contact?language=en_US
