I have a rather bright room, so QLED was the way to go (not as much reflection! Much research went into learning about the different types of TV’s. The staff were great in helping make the decision to make this decision.

B&W Film Noir look great! Many TVs appear gray rather than true black. The contrast on this set is great!

Fairly Regretful Purchase

Unfortunately this TV is quite buggy. Reboots daily and occasionally freezes completely which is only remedied bu unplugging the unit for 30 seconds. Obviously less than ideal, especially considering what I paid for it. I've performed a software update and have changed various system setup options, still does it. I'm an older lady that lives alone and without a car, so I can't just pop it back in the box and return it, I don't even think I could pick it up by myself, it's extremely heavy. And I've already paid Best Buy 200+ to deliver and set it up. If I had it to do over again, I'd have picked a different set, LG perhaps, idk.

However, we regret to learn about the daily reboots and occasional freezing issues you are encountering. This is certainly not the experience we strive to provide.
We are aware that some customers have reported similar reboot problems with the BRAVIA 7 series TVs, particularly when a cable box is connected via HDMI. To address this, we have recently released a firmware update (version 112.628.050.1, released on 12/16/2024) that resolves the issue causing the TV to unexpectedly restart when connected to certain set-top boxes or media players through HDMI.
