    Good picture quality with incompatible centerstage

    The Center stage doesn't work with the Sony flag ship soundbar: Sony - HT-A7000 When you attach the TV to the bar, the TV produces a low-frequency buzz. It would be nice if TV same with some additional storage. I ran out of storage and had to delete apps.

    Almost everything we watch on netflix looks grainy, internet connection is good as it standa next to our router and its verizon gigabit connection. Only movies look good

    I purchased the Sony - 65" Class BRAVIA XR A80K 4K HDR OLED Google TV on August 2nd. Geek Squad installed it on August 12th. I just returned from a week-long trip with my family, and now the TV shuts off by itself when we are watching it. I spoke with Best Buy and Geek Squad; the soonest they can replace the TV is September 1st. Now my family and I are without a TV that works, and I'm out over $2,000. This experience has been horrible and frustrating.

    Picture freezes for extended periods of time. Also, blurry picture quality, as screen reloads. I have purchase SONY televisions in the past and had amazing picture quality, and this just does not cut it. Wish to return and use my old tv.

    Full disclosure we bought open box. For us we didn’t like the tv, was not impressed.. with picture .. but we noticed damage so ended up returning it. That could be why the tv lacked the WOW factor for us.

    Bought this TV a dew days ago and have already decided I’ll be returning it. For the price, I expected this to be the most amazing TV known to man. Instead. It’s extremely underwhelming.

      If the power supply is cut while performing a software update you may experience the SONY logo appears and then shows a black screen. To resolve your issue, update the TV using USB method.

      1. Download the latest software update for your TV.

      https://www.sony.com/electronics/support/oled-tvs-android-a80k_a83k_a84k-series/xr-65a80k/software/00280964

      2. Transfer the update file to a USB storage device. You may need to format the USB storage device to FAT32 file system.
      3. Unplug the TV from the wall outlet.
      4. Insert the USB storage device into the USB port of the TV.
      5. Plug the TV back into the wall outlet.
      6. Turn on the TV to start downloading the update from the USB storage device
      7. Follow the on-screen instructions and complete the update process. The TV should work normally after completing the update process.

      NOTE: There is a risk of hardware damage. During the installation of the update, don't press any buttons, turn off the TV, or unplug it from the wall outlet. Loss of power during the installation of the firmware update may cause the TV to become unresponsive or require a repair.

    I bought this tv for three reasons 1. our old Sony tv broke when our grandkids managed to strike the screen with their new light-sabers. 2. I didn't want my wife to have to navigate a new system with anything other than a Sony. 3. This model was last years model Oled saving me a few bucks. It has a great picture and sound...totally worth it

    Superb picture quality especially viewing fast moving sports like hockey, LAX. Golf is first class when tracking shots. Easy to see how really bad some home plate umps are at calling balls/strikes and total lack of consistency. Others always comment on how stricking the picture is no matter what is being shown.

    It was pretty simple to install as well as set-up the programing, but it is too heavy for one person to place on the wall or on top of a television table. The picture is vivid and the surround sound speakers and bar matched very well and provides an extra dimension.
