The setup, operation, went smoothly. A week after delivery we upgraded to a wall mount as the sound bar interfered with remote communications with the TV. Much cleaner look and more efficient daily operation.

Amazing tv for the price!

Sound is surprising loud and crisp for having speakers in rear. Will def be buying another Sony when I upgrade.

Great TV

Brightness is great, Sony as usual has their upscaling too notch and motion as well. A little bit of dirty screen effect, especially in the corners and when watching hockey. Great for gaming. I also have an x950 h and their is not a huge difference between the two. Highly recommend this tv.

The LCD screen is made with high-precision technology to achieve a high level of performance and picture quality. To achieve this level of performance, the backlight setting of the TV is set to maximize the screen brightness. However, you may notice uneven brightness on the TV when watching in a dark environment or when the screen is blank. This condition is normal and not a malfunction of the TV.
If you should find this affects your enjoyment, here are few adjustments that you can do to minimize this condition:
-Reduce the Backlight Level in the Picture Settings menu.
-Turn the Light Sensor setting to On in the Setup menu.
-Change the Power Saving setting to Low or High in the Setup menu.
-Set the Picture Mode to Standard in the Settings menu.
See a vivid, crisp picture while you watch and game, all enhanced by Full Array LED and powered by the intelligent Cognitive Processor XR™️. Sound positioning tweeters, in additional to the TV speakers, elevates the sound so what you hear matches the picture you see. I liked Sony OLED but it is too contrast with so deep black that it would hurt my eyes (my eyes are tired in the end of the working day from constant exposure to computer excel chats and the like).
