Told me that other brands are going downhill and that I should invest with Sony. I told him my budget and he was able to offer me a great deal with a discounted sound bar as well.

Pleaser with our SONY 65"

Glitches

Posted .Hi CraigW, We're sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with your TV. This is definitely not what we wanted you to experience. We'd like to verify some details so we can assist you better. Can you describe to us the issue with your TV? Does it happen when you on the TV's home screen? Does it also happen when watching from your input devices? Does it do the same when watching from streaming apps like Netflix, YouTube?
If you're experiencing the issue while the TV is on the home screen, make sure that the power cord is plugged in properly. Consider other outlets if possible. If it happens when watching from your input devices, make sure that the cables are connected properly.
In the mean time, kindly perform power reset on your TV. This can help refresh your TV's system, If the issue still occur, please perform factory reset on your TV. Please note that resetting your TV will default back to factory settings. Lastly, make sure that your TV has the latest firmware update. Hope this helps. Thanks and regards, -Craig

Moving? Fuggedaboutit

Chose Sony for the picture and because I have owned Sony TVs before. Fast forward to March 24 after I moved, my tv quit working. It was packed and moved by professional movers. I call Sony and the response is, well, it is out of warranty. No other suggestions or options. I looked on the web site and there are not licensed Sony tv people anywhere close (I live in a metro area). I find a tv repair person and he tells me that the led bulbs are not working. The TVs are so thin, any movement can damage them. The repairman can seem to find bulbs since the tv is so new, so I have a black screen on my wall. It appears the only option is to now buy a new tv. I am very dismayed that I took all of the precautions to move my tv and now it is useless. Is this now Sony quality????? No parts to even fix it, really? Do NOT move this tv if you want it to work again.

REVIEW OF SONY X90L TV

The next day, the TV did not show any picture but the audio was on for only HBO. The picture worked for the other apps and the actual cable tv. I had to unplug and plug it back in and it did nothing! This is not good for a brand new tv out of the box! The next morning the tv picture worked for all the apps including the one with HBO. I do not know if this was a glitch but this is disappointing to spend so much on a Sony and have this happen for a new tv that is not 1 day old!

I love it!

Only complaint I have would be the sound quality, not as good but the rest of the features definitely make up for it! Nothing a good surround sound couldn’t fix.

It's okay but I wish I'd gave gotten an OLED tv.

Trying to fix these two things oaths tv has proven difficult.

Thank you for your time writing this review. While we are glad you like your X90L TV, we're sorry to hear your difficulties in setting up and some issues that you are experiencing with the unit. Allow us to help and turn this to a better experience.
If the audio and video on your TV are out of sync or there's an audio delay, please try some solutions below:
Make sure that the TV has the latest system software (firmware) installed.
If watching a TV program, try changing the channel to see if the problem occurs on other channels; if it only occurs on one channel, then the issue is with the broadcast.
Make sure all cables are securely connected to the TV and the source device.
Try playing a different video source to determine if the issue occurs with other connected devices.
Set the Game Mode to Off when watching TV or playing a DVD or BD.
Set the Game Mode to On when playing a video game.
Perform a power reset on the TV.
If there is a home theater system and a digital optical cable is used in the connection, manually change the Audio/Video Sync or Audio Delay setting on the home theater system (if available).
