My fav lens ❤️ I take this lens everywhere I go. It’s my all around lens

This lens is exactly what i needed. After shooting with big heavy lenses for over 10 years, this 2 lbs is a joy. Very happy

This lens is wonderful for all types of subject matter. Just know that you have to have a good amount of distance between you and your subject. Also the lens is a bit heavy so be prepared for that. You can zoom in and not loose important details in the picture. Love this lens!

When paired with my Sony A7ii, it is very well balanced and absolutely a great sharp edge to edge lens here at all focal lengths. Love the fixed lens length vs. the regular zoom lens extension. Also, am very pleased when I choose to use this lens in APS-C mode.

Before I bought the Sony 70-200mm f4, I tried quite a few portrait lenses. This lens blew me away. It’s so small and portable, and the image quality is beyond impressive on my Sony A7R ii. This is a must have in every pro photographer’s arsenal.

The lens is great and everything I wanted it to be. I bought it open box to save about $200. It is in great shape except they didn't send the lens hood. I'm not going to pay return shipping and get another open copy that is potentially in worse shape. At $90 for the hood I should have just bought new. But oh well live and learn. As far as the lens it's very sharp and extremely fast to focus. Great addition to the bag.

Have used it a lot yet but so far getting good results for an amateur...pricey so got an open box and relatively good condition.. size wise it is big for A6500

It's tough to call a $1500 lens a good value, but it's about half the price of the G Master version, and it is much more than half as good. Images are tack sharp. You can still produce nice bokeh at f/4. Obviously the f/2.8 G Master would be my first choice, but not for the extra coin.

excellent lens my only cons is that in low light f4 is not wide enough, but in day light is perfect and light for travel.

Excellent IQ! The colors are brilliant, the bokeh is very nice. Pricey, but similar to Canon and Nikon equivalents. Very well-built but HEAVY. I use a monopod for longer shoots. I bought an open box. Perfect condition and half price

Very solid, high-performance lens, very sharp, great stabilizer. Slightly heavier than I'd hoped considering it's for a mirrorless, but learning to live with that. Seems almost identically sharp to my Canon 70-200 f4, and slightly smaller.

Great alternative to the f2.8 version without the price tag. I use it for video and photos and provides a sharp image everytime.

Picture quality is crisp and clean and the lens works great!

Great lens for telephotos, and worked nicely with my sony a7sii. The quality is great, and the stabilization works wonderfully. Great for both video and stills.

I love this lens so much. The picture quality is very sharp. Love the customizable buttons. Really helps a lot for whatever you need it to be.

Extremely well built. Very solid construction. Focus and zoom are both very smooth. It is clear,clear,clear. No visible distortion or C. a. issues to speak of. 70-200 is a very useful range.

I bought this as an open box item and could not be more pleased. For the money difference between this and the 2.8 version I have the range I needed at the expense of 1 stop aperture which for me is okay.
