This is my first Sony TV and I am so disappointed. There is a line running through the middle just weeks after we purchased we contacted Sony and there is nothing we can do but wait for an update. Next time I’ll stick with Vizio.

I couldn’t get certain apps for this TV. I guess I should’ve read more in-depth about what programs I could use.

I love this tv, picture is great, colors are rich it is HUGE but not as heavy as you would think it is. hangs easily. easy to use.

What you are paying up for here are three things: 1) This Tv is Direct Lit, unlike most of the less expensive 4K LEDs which are Edge Lit. This technology allows for deeper blacks and richer colors which make for the most beautiful picture you will find in this price range. 2) It's 85 inches! That one is self-explanatory. And 3) It has a refresh rate of 120Hz. This keeps the picture from lagging when watching sports, action movies or playing video games. With it's ease of use and unbelievable upscaling, this tv makes is possible for just about anyone to enjoy their favorite show and movies, new and old. And the remote has just about everything you need to control your DVR. The only 85 inch television I could recommend over this one is the Sony KD85X91J with is pretty much the same 4K LED but it offers Full Array Local Dimming, which is an even more impressive technology than Direct Lit. I hope this helps you make the right choice. As long as it's a SONY, you can't make a bad one.

TV is great and an all rounder. Good for games, content, and movies. The only complaint I have is that the local dimming for this series is mid tier and can be very visible during white or blank scenes. I think it's a fair trade off for the price and the technology it uses. To be honest you will only every notice it 1% of the time unless you stay on loading screens a lot. The gaming experience is future proofed as it can actually support the PS5, XBOX, and PC games. My beefy pc can't even run 120fps at 4k all the time so I haven't used this TV to it's full potential just yet and plan to in the future. You won't be disappointed and the value it brings will last for years. Granted that most people buy such an expensive TV with the mindset to keep it for a decade.

It’s an incredible picture with a fantastic refresh rate. Love watching sports as it crystal clear. Highly recommended.

This is my first Google home TV. I’ve had other smart TVs in the past but this one has such a great user interface. It connected to everything the way it was supposed to and it runs seamlessly. The picture quality is absolutely incredible I wish I would’ve went with you Rey but I am very pleased with what I have. The darks are dark and the colors are rich and the frame refresh rate is amazing I can’t even play games on

Originally bought the 75" x90j but then after putting it on the wall my wife and kids said to go bigger so I was able to return it to the store and get this 85" without any issues at all. This TV is huge! Will not fit in an SUV so the free delivery worked out great. Beware it's 100lbs!! And if your using the stands make sure you have something wide enough to put it on. Picture is great, I honestly can't tell the difference between TV's with local dimming and ones such as this without it. The brightness is real bright.. for example white flashing from gunfire in an action scene will actually make your entire room flash like your there. When wall mounting you'll be close to the ceiling unless you real high ceilings. In order to get as close as possible I used the Kanto PT300 wall mount from crutchfield (it only has a 1/2 drop into the channel lock and it supports 150lbs). If you can fit it go with the 85"!!

Love it. It’s big obviously but the picture doesn’t look fake. This is my first quality tv and it took a bit of getting used too mainly the picture is so clear. It’s heavy so make sure you have something very sturdy to hold it. Set up was also easy. I used Google assistant and it was fast. Never used that before. But in 20 minutes total I was browsing

Excellent TV. Very clear picture. Easy to use remote control. I hooked this TV to my P.A. system so i can sing along with great classic music songs from the U-Tube channels. Awesome sound. Theater like ambience feeling when I watch a cool movie....The sound of movies stand out real well. I really enjoy just kicking back and relaxing in my living room. Just make sure you mount this TV securely either to the wall or on a nice solid TV stand. Now it's time for me to make some pop corn and watch a good movie. Have a great Labor day weekend!!!

The size and quality is really good. Gaming, series etc

The picture quality is exceptional! Crystal clear picture, vibrant, yet natural colors and on certain quality 4K or 8K demonstration videos, the picture depth looks holographic. Sound from TV speakers is merely adequate, but I'm using an audio system so it's not an issue for me. The menus are detailed as one might expect from a smart TV with an Android OS, as opposed to just a TV. I would've liked a menu option for grayscale color calibration bars to self-calibrate the unit, but it looks darn good out right out of the box. I did however take away one star due to a software code bug which pulls the unit in and out of standby randomly and incessantly. How do I know? I installed bias lighting, plugged the strand into one of the rear USB ports and it randomly comes on and off all day long. To verify that it wasn't the bias lighting causing the issue, I'd unplugged them and kept my eye on the optical audio output to see if it lit up too, and it did. This means power to the mainboard is cycling on and off...not a good idea. I now keep the TV plugged into a switched outlet because of this. I'll just have to manually update the software. Fix the code bug and this TV falls under the "Porsche for the price of a VW" category.

Really nice set. I love the picture. Although it is so clear that on some shows you can see how cheesy the set is. I'm older so the apps took some getting used to. But once you figure it out it is a breeze. Set up was easy as it walks you right through with prompts. I have not tried the voice remote yet. But that will come. Was debating on the 85" since it is just huge. But Best Buy had a nice sale. I moved up from a 65"

The best of the best tv for my man cave !! Amazing and good quality picture

This Sony 85" X85J Series LED 4K is just what I needed to watch my sports, especially my football games. The picture is larger than life, it has great colors and the players seems to be right in my living room. Great Buy, Fantastic Price.

Giant, bright, and colorful! Fantastic TV with excellent but easy settings. Super fast to open apps and move between screens. Can hang or set on a sturdy table. Good sound, zero complaints. Very happy with this purchase.

Bought this tv as a gift for my husband. He is very particular when it comes to watching tv, especially football! He loves the clarity of the picture and is thrilled when watching the games. I highly recommend this tv.
