One big down side is the screen doesnt do the 180 degree flip. And if using for recording it stops recording randomly with out notice from the front of the camera.

It also don't want to take pictures at dark Also hard to capture moving objects. Not a person friendly camera and hard to get accessories for it.

Posted .Hi Snuggles, make sure that the camera focus is set to AF and half press the shutter for the camera to pre-focus. Camera also have AF Illuminator. The AF illuminator supplies fill light to focus more easily on a subject in dark surroundings. The red AF illuminator allows
the product to focus easily when the shutter button is pressed halfway, until the focus is locked. To turn it on, go to MENU → (Camera Settings) → [ AF Illuminator] -Zander

It's most likely me, but the image quality is hit and mostly miss. Did quite a bit of research and all pointed me to this camera. Using it compared to point and shoot is a bit more complicated, but the basic auto functions should provide consistent image quality, my camera doesn't. Have done more research and made some adjustments, but again its hit / miss. I use a Canon T3 at work and its consistent.....! Haven't given up, but I would not recommend at this time.
