Sleek and subtle. Can use it with many legacy lenses which are pretty cheap.

Great Camera, would recommend getting it used. If you have the cash and it is on sale $900 isn't a bad deal but I would look for a used one.

Would highly recommend for those who are looking to gain some experience in this field.

Light weight, not many buttons and great quality pictures

Simply amazing... It is an older model/generation... but not with super major differences to the newer ones. Price also dropped a good amount which I was able to use the difference for lenses... I am very happy with how beautiful the photos come out.

Bought this camera after owning a Cannon DSL for 15 years. IT has been a bit of an adjustment to find the right settings for action shots, particularly of animals. After watching a couple of youtube videos and adjusting settings I have been able to capture some amazing pictures of wildlife with incredible depth and richness of color. However, I admit I am still learning, but thankfully it doesn't cost any more to take 20 shots than 1 shot as many I discard because they are not focused well. When I do capture the perfect shot, it's amazing!

Pros: Very light camera body (compared to my 5DII) Many ways to customize for different shooting styles. Great image quality. I love that with an adapter, I can use lenses from many other camera systems. Cons: the menus are not difficult to navigate, but almost seem clunky compared to other camera systems. They don’t make sense. Apps. Sony sells apps that add features to your camera system that I believe you should already have. Maybe Canon and Nikon have just spoiled me!

I own both the OG & Mark II A7. The Mark II improves on everything that made the first one a great camera. In Body Image Stabilization, improves ergonomics, ability to shoot uncompressed RAW via firmware update. I can’t complain, especially at its current price point...it’s a bargain.

I purchased the a7 as a gift primary due to the discounted price following the release of the a7 mark II. I returned it immediately and purchased the a7 mark II. Love it so much I purchased a second for myself. Pair it with Zeiss glass and it really shines! Remarkable improvement over its predecessor.

A big step up from my Sony a6000 with stabilization love both cameras. Easy menu Bluetooth capability. Great full frame mirrorless camera

I have been a "Canon man" but this camera is impressive. The color is brilliant, the auto focus is spot on and the fast continuous shooting mode is great for sports and wildlife photography.

I am a Sony fan. I also have an NEX 5. I miss the viewfinder so the A7 is an excellent upgrade. Exceptional in low light. I am an avid photographer since 1970. The 'Gold' auto makes great photos easy'. An impressive array of creative controls await s.

If you want a camera that's easy to carry around, and takes excellent photo's - look no further. Honestly! It can be a bit complicated for a newbie user, but as of now I'm very happy to have something to grow into.

I'm a complete novice but decided to get this camera as my first. It's super easy to use and takes amazing photos! It's also pretty easy to transfer pictures from the camera to my phone with ease as well!

I bought the Sony A7ii after being a loyal Canon DSLR user. I wanted to make a move into mirrorless and after some research, found that the Sony A7ii is the best full frame option for my first mirrorless. I have not been disappointed. I use this camera for general use - both photography and videography and it has not let me down. Aside from the learning curve coming from the Canon ecosystem, this camera has everything you need.

I used to have an old Nikon camera. I love this Sony, cause quality of pictures and price is great. But if you’re looking for something to take a video you should to look for different ones.

Coming from traditional DSLR camera background, I had my doubts! But this camera absolutely crushed any doubts! It's fast, crisp & amazing camera! No regrets for experimenting with mirrorless camera!
