As always, great quality from Sony with this product. It was a bit challenging getting the drive belt hooked up. Otherwise, plays smooth and quiet. Very satisfied with is.

This turntable has geat sound. The moving magnet cartridge is high quality. I really like the automatic start button and return of the tone arm after the end of the record.

I purchased this item as "Open Box Excellent" as a birthday gift. Upon opening the item, I noticed that the turntable was missing the actual belt that engages the platter and makes the record turn. Ignoring the embarrassment of giving a gift with missing parts, I contacted customer service. The only option presented to me was to take the item to a local Best Buy store for them to examine and there was no guarantee that they would even have the missing part. This is a significant inconvenience and requires me to do a lot of work to correct for Best Buy's mistake. To avoid the time and hassle of doing this, I ultimately purchased a replacement OEM belt for the turntable from a different retailer. Overall, it was a terrible purchase experience and I would not recommend.
