I hadn't had a working turntable for many years. This one is very basic, but it plays my albums which I have kept in great shape for 40 years. And it's compatible with my Sonos system.

I’m giving it 4 stars because you can connect to Bose or Beats headphone but you can’t control the volume. You only hear it at a very low volume. That really sucks.

The item itself looks fine, but it arrived missing the stylus (needle). I contacted customer service to request a replacement, and instead of helping, the agent ended the chat with: “You can contact our phone team about this once since you are already given a resolution. Due to the repetitive and unproductive nature of this conversation, I will need to disconnect this chat.”
I simply asked for the missing piece to be sent. That response was unacceptable.
I’ve been a loyal customer for nearly a decade, buy all my electronics from Best Buy, and even have the store credit card. Yet I was treated rudely and dismissively, as if I was asking for a handout—not what I paid for. It’s incredibly disappointing to be spoken to this way over something so simple.

LOVE. First turntable to use exclusively for vinyl and very happy. This is obviously not for a audiophile, but great for anyone with vinyls and looking to get into the hobby.

Very disappointing--this turntable is not compatible with all Bluetooth speakers, a helpful fact which is not made clear in the product description or users manual. Confirmed this with Sony tech support after it connects to my speaker but the volume is too low and can't be controlled with the speaker's buttons. They will not supply a list of compatible speakers and agreed with me that I will have to just buy a whole bunch of speakers to test out to see which one works (!!?). They will not provide a refund or a discount on another speaker (that may or may not be compatible). Sorry I went with Sony.
Hi SWwithunusableproduct, thank you for your feedback. We sincerely apologize for the frustration and disappointment you've experienced with your PS-LX310BT turntable and its compatibility with Bluetooth speakers.
To avoid the low volume issue you've encountered, we recommend checking for Bluetooth speakers that are compatible with the A2DP Bluetooth profile. The PS-LX310BT utilizes this profile for audio transmission and speakers that fully support A2DP are much more likely to provide proper volume control and overall compatibility.
While we understand that a specific list of compatible speakers isn't available, focusing on speakers that explicitly mention A2DP support in their specifications will significantly increase your chances of a successful and satisfying connection.
