I upgraded from the bluetooth crosley cruiser and the sony ps-lx310bt is better in every single way imaginable. The sound quality is absolutely insane. The fact that I can connect my bluetooth speakers, headphones, etc is a huge bonus. The auto start/stop keeps my records in such good shape. The overall look of the record player is sleek and modern. I recommend this record player both to beginners and audiophiles.

No issues very easy to set up good design. You can’t really upgrade it, but you don’t need to upgrade anyways

It's simple to use, while looking sleek, adding a nice look to the room. All the while it also sounds amazing. I had a cheap suitcase player beforehand and the difference is quite literally night and day. Minor to no skips, bluetooth enabled, simple button press to play and stop. My only issue would be the cover wasn't as clean as it should be for buying it in "Excellent" condition, minor scuff here and there. Otherwise this is an amazing vinyl player that I would recommend to everyone.

I was looking for a good replacement for an older player and reviewed several different ones. I chose this Sony player based on brand and previous experience with it. I am very happy I did. The player is very simple to use and the sound quality is amazing. I definitely recommend this record player.

I like this record player. Like I said, it does what it is supposed to do. It is big(ger) than I had expected, 13 x 17.5 x 3 h, luckily I was still able to fit it where I put it. You have to put a bit of it together; not too much though. Just take everything out of the box and follow the directions. And do NOT throw anything away until you find the little circle that goes in the middle (for 45 albums) and the cover clips; they are hiding in the Styrofoam packaging! PHYSICAL: It is like a digital record player. There is a Start, Stop, "Pause"/"Move" buttons on the front. The buttons DO say start and stop. but the 3rd button does not say pause and/or move, it is just what they do. There is a bluetooth button to turn on and pair Bluetooth inside. There is a switch to select 45 or 33 and another switch to select 7 or 12, also inside. By inside I mean when you lift up the cover. There is a power button on the back. Once you know where it is the first time, you will not need to see the back to find it again; your finger will go straight to it. It has an output switch on the back. I have it connected to my bookshelf system so I use the supplied audio cable with the Line input (it is on Line by default). It also has a gain switch with 3 settings, also on the back.The USB cable port is on the back as well. This USB port is for recording. I'll come back to that. It has a cover that lifts up and closes. You do not have to remove the lid to use the player. USE/PLAYING: First, I used it with the Line input into my bookshelf system. I put my bookshelf on Aux. It worked great. Second, I tested the bluetooth. I bluetoothed with the same bookshelf system. It worked. I then bluetoothed with my portable bluetooth player. It worked. Then I bluetoothed it with my wireless headphones. It worked. Read the directions for pairing. It's easy. It can save up to 8 pairings (so that you don't have to keep pairing the same device already paired). But only turn on one bluetooth at a time when pairing, otherwise it will chose the bluetooth device that it wants to choose. You can also delete all the pairings (it does not look like you can delete individual pairings; you either delete all or none). Again, read the directions. RECORDING: I had to order the USB cable before I could test the recording feature because I did not know it needed a different kind of USB cable. It uses B to A (like a printer cable). I ordered a cheap 16 footer. According to the directions, do not use a hub, extension, thumb drive, etc. Just the cable and it must connect to a computer. I used my laptop and downloaded the software it suggested. I followed the directions and it worked. OTHER: There is a usb port somewhere on the inside, which is used for updates only. There is a slot on the outer right side of the player where you can stash the circle that goes in the middle of 45 records. This is the first record player I have owned so I can't compare it to another. I don't need anything more than this as far as a record player. I like it. I recommend it. Have fun and enjoy it. Wanted to dust off my record collection. Spent a lot of time shopping for a new turntable. The Bluetooth feature was a big draw to this one. It was really easy to set up and I am able to Bluetooth directly to my Sony stereo receiver. The sound is great and It looks really great! A lot of the reviews made me question this purchase but I couldn’t be happier (Only had it for a few weeks). There are a lot of pros. The only con would be that the buttons are a little lesser quality than I would expect from Sony.

im loving my first turntable. the ease of using it is so incomparable. the power and quality produces is decent and im satisfied with it. the price is affordable. not sure how long it will last because I've been playing with it almost everyday. starting into vinyl lately and this just came right in time. and of course love the bluetooth capability. easy connection and nothing complicated. simple assembly. only from sony. thanks best buy!

The first one I bought didn’t work out of the box. Best Buy took it back and had a new one shipped to my house within two days and it works perfectly. Easy to use and beautiful vinyl sound.

got this turntable to play my old vinyl on, been missing it for years, good match with my new sony receiver , its basic but sound great and works good, like the fact its blue tooth, but I'm using it wired to my receiver, one takeaway is you cant change the cartridge, you can change the needle , but again for the price, its an excellent performing turntable, Setup was easy, did try the blue tooth and it paired up easy, very happy with it

This is a very high quality turntable for the price. The Bluetooth feature makes setup amazingly easy and works beautifully - both to our receiver and to some small Bluetooth speakers we have in other rooms (though they can only be linked to one or the other at one time). The stylus is very light (usually a good thing), so on some of our older slightly warped records, it will skip, and there is no weight adjustment on the arm. But mostly this is not an issue and we can add a very light weight at the stylus end. Overall, the sound quality is excellent, the automatic arm placement and return features are very helpful, and it seems very well designed and built.

I obtained this turntable and was blown away by its high-quality parts, as well as the wide array of options it allows to play my LP's. The Bluetooth functionality allows you to connect to wireless headphones, whole home audio or any other Bluetooth enabled speakers. A feature that I was very happy about although wasn't evident at first glance, was the ability to record your vinyl to your laptop to create a digital copy of it with that classic vinyl sound. The only downside to the turntable is some of the switches are in the back, which can be a little cumbersome.

Really solid turntable. Speed is steady, low noise, and included stylus does the job nicely. Can support multiple sizes and speeds, and there are lots of output options. The USB output is crystal clear, as is the phono out. The Bluetooth paired quickly with my airpods and sounds much better than I expected. The reason for the four star rating is that the Line out does not produce a clean low bass output; the sound is very compressed and clipped no matter the gain setting. At first I thought it was a problem with my pressings, but no -- they sound absolutely fantastic through USB. To be fair, this won't impact most users, as rock and classic pressings sound great through the line output. So, in the end I'll ultimately have to spring for a pre-amp. I wanted this to be an all in one solution, but my genre preferences include some electronic music with deep basslines that aren't well reproduced with the included pre amp.

This is a fantastic turntable for those of us who have vinyl and like to play them!!! Easy automatic start button and when it comes to the end of the side automatically returns the arm to the cradle… no having to grab it at end. No weight balancing, its setup already. Nice light touch without skipping unless the LP has a scratch or there is too much foot stomping! Fantastic sound quality. Pairs easily with wireless headphones!!!

This turntable has most features that you want at about the lowest price. Bluetooth is a real bonus as most folks have bluetooth speaker they can use, if not planning to use this with an amp/receiver. It plays 33 and 45 which cover most records. I think it would be a rare occasion where you would run into a 72 rpm record. It also has two selectable record sizes. Front controls are automatic (auto start and stop) are easily accessible, but the spin speed and size controls are under the lid and all controls execpt bluetooth are not lit. Also, curiously, the line in and power buttons are on the rear, but for this price, I can forgive a few eccentricities. Also comes with a built in needle, just no tone arm weight control adjustment.

This turntable is absolutely amazing. Five stars. Not only does it have both Bluetooth and receiver connections, which work simultaneously, but it plays records like never heard before. It doesn’t skip or pause - like older players of yesteryear. It was a simple five minute or less setup. It does feel a bit cheaper with the buttons, but other than that, there are no complaints! Loving this and highly recommend!!

This is a wonderful record player. I don’t use the Bluetooth, so I can’t speak to that feature. But the wired sound is great! It’s stylish and won’t break the bank. Definitely worth a look!
