I purchased this Smart TV for my studio apt living room, is just the rigth size, has a very good image quality and the smart features cover all required needs.

The best TV around! I love the clarity, the sharpness of the scenes, the apps available, the easy of using the remote and overall - LOVE IT!!!

Easy set-up, picture is great, sound actually better than I expected. The remote buttons are a little small. Smart features work great.

I was looking for a TV to replace my Samsung 46" that, disappointingly, only lasted about 4 years. I tried a Sharp, but didn't like the picture quality, or the on-screen menu display. I also tried a Vizio smart TV, but, while the picture quality was good, it lacked features like adjustments for the 120Hz setting, and the ability to play movies in 24p mode. I was also thinking it would be nice to be able to connect my smartphone to the TV to share pictures, movies, etc. I couldn't do that with either TV mentioned above, but I can with this Sony! So let me start from the beginning. This TV is easy to set up, has great picture quality, has a ton of settings that you can adjust, does play movies in 24p mode, and it's super easy to connect your smartphone to it (an Android phone at least). The sound quality is so-so, which is to be expected from a TV (get a soundbar if you want great sound). The thing I love most about this TV is how easy it is to connect your smartphone to it (again, an Android at least). It has a "screen mirroring" input where it will show whatever is on your phone's screen on the TV. You can also create an account on the TV and upload your photos and videos, and share them on the TV that way. If you're using You Tube on your phone or iPad, you can tap a button, and it will transfer whatever you're watching to the TV. It couldn't be easier! This TV is awesome! It's my first Sony TV, so here's to hoping it will last longer than 4 years.

I spent many hours researching tvs. I seemingly considered it all in the 50" size -- from the cheapest to most expensive. In the end, I felt I made the right choice with this tv. I wanted a tv that could effortlessly handle motion, gaming, and have functional built in smart features. Check, check, check. The only quibbles I have is the price and the tv stand. Both were acceptable but the price is on the higher side for a 1080p tv in its size and the stand works but is a little wobbly if the tv is bumped(form over function). A few personal notable things about the tv... - at this time smart function has Netflix, Amazon, and plex along with a million other video apps. For nba fans, no league pass at this time sadly. - smart function is not as snappy as you'd ideally want but it works. - the picture is very good out of the box but you can make it even better with a few adjustments, the various controls for both audio and video are great! Overall it won't disappoint!

With its larger screen, clear picture, and easy to access features, this SONY product is just what we wanted. Smart capability makes Netflix just one easy click. Easy setup and it fits perfectly into our den furniture. Highly recommend this product!

For the price, the picture, clarity and refresh are great. Some of the smart features are innovative and there is good app selection, but there are several obstacles leaving the smart technology feeling half-baked. For example, you can't set a sleep timer when you're in an app like Netflix. You have to back all the way out of the app, set the sleep timer, and then go back into the app. After you turn the tv on, you have to wait quite a while just to change the input. The remote is not illuminated, nor is it very intuitive and it's easy to hit a wrong button when you're trying to use the arrow buttons. Small annoyances like this add up. It's not enough to make me return it, but definitely not a frustration-free experience.

Great picture, sound and it's smart! I needed an antennae but if you have cable then nothing to worry about. I stream Netflix, pandora and my fav YouTube. This was a great purchase for a great price.

Excellent TV for the price. At this size, you don't need more than 1080p. The "smart" part of the TV is pretty good. A little slow in it's UI at times, but overall a great job. Connects to and plays content from my NAS based DLNA server perfectly, screen casting from my mobile is fun but not really useful to me. Lots of apps that be added but most are unknown channels/apps. It all works well though. Good sound from the built-in speakers, excellent picture. Remote is fairly well organized. The stand it comes with is clean and minimalist styled.

The Smart part of the TV is great, but there is a limit on apps you can download. It's only approved Sony apps, which means no HBOGO or apps from the app store. Also the remote input of text is really slow. A remote with letters on it would be better

Couldn't go wrong with Sony and this TV does not disappoint. It has a great picture and many apps available. The speakers are ok, a sound bar makes it great. The settings may have to be adjusted to make some of the app features work correctly, I kept trying and made it work.

Picture is fantastic. Smart features work well, like streaming and a TV guide for those of us without cable. Some reviewers complained of sound issues but I think the sound is good. And you can use the remote to control a ps4 if you have one. I researched tvs for months before choosing this one, and I really couldn't be happier.

The primary reason we bought this TV was that it was in stock and fit in the available space, but we were pleasantly - well, not surprised, but gratified - that it's a great TV. Wonderful picture, decent online/smart features, etc.

Picture quality is amazing. Unlike samsung, picture feels natural. Play station Now is good (if you really good internet connection > 25 mbs). There are lot of apps, Netflix is integrated in the tv and it works very smoothly. Overall, there is some lag switch between apps but thats acceptable.

This was a great purchase. Even got it on sale. Excellent picture quality with plenty of features. Used alot for HD gaming on PS4. Sony is still one of the great brands with a quality product. Not getting cheap by removing extra HDMI ports like Samsung.

Setting up the TV was straight forward and the features available exceeded my expectations. Numerous apps are readily accessible and easy to use. I love the way you can mirror on the TV what is on your phone easily. Great TV at a great price.

Love this TV, great picture and awesome features built into the TV. Great value as well. I have always been loyal to Sony and the quality of this product will continue that loyalty.

This Sony TV goes above and beyond my expectations. It's apps are a key part of my purchase which I use daily. Look forward to the future of Playstation Play Now if they expand to all new games available and integrate PS4 into system.

Had Samsung before, found this on sale and better buy for same quality and features. Later saw ad for anorher $30 less - went to Best Buy and they honored price and got the 30 ! So far a nice TV with lots of features.
