Great HD TV but hard to wall mount

The screen is nice and it is light for such a large unit. It also has plenty of HDMI ports to connect to various. Accessories. My only issue is the wall mount. I needed to use a fully articulating arm mount. This proved a problem as my standard mounts covered the AV ports. The TV also did not mount to the center of the TV. It was offset to the bottom and I worried about the TV wanting to tilt all the time. The TV recommends a flat to the wall mount style using screws and pulleys supplied in the set. That did not work for me. I finally found a mount (not on sale of course) that I got to work. TV is great but mounting was an issue.

Wall mounting is a bit of issue because the holes for mounting the bracket is low at the back of the TV and not in the middle as some other brands therefore the Sanus full motion bracket hangs about 6 inches from the base of the TV. May have to live with it or make some sort of adaptor. Also the bracket support blocks the component/composite input so the mounting bracket is off center another issue to live with if I want the TV on the wall with a Sanus full motion bracket

Overpriced

Has refresh rate of 60 Hz, and worst of all the wall mount (no matter what kind you get, will cover most of the ports in the back including the LAN port. The brackets it comes with will allow you to pretty much nail it to the wall, which means you can't adjust/tilt the TV. I'm returning this tomorrow morning.

Very difficult to hang on wall with brackets that were included with TV. No genuine picture in picture. Very poorly designed remote, FAVORITES is time consuming to get to favorite channel, which should be a single key stroke. Overall VERY UNHAPPY WITH THE SONY BRAVIA 48 INCH TV.
