    Geek Squad Certification Failed

    The TV itself had great potential but I will never buy another open box item again. I paid more to purchase a Geek Squad Certified open box TV in excellent condition. Unfortunately it was obvious that no one had even powered on the TV as there were multiple black vertical lines throughout the screen. Best Buy was good about issuing a refund but I still didn't have a TV. I ended up spending more on a lower grade TV. I am disappointed; I expected more from a certified open box product.

    Bought this tv online as a Christmas gift for someone. The tv comes and when set up there are two dead pixles. The person who received this tv is a single mother of two who works full time. When she calls Warwick Best Buy and talks to store manager she is told best buy wont come to house and replace tv. She IS THEN TOLD IF SHE HAD BOUGHT THE TV IN STORE AND PICKED UP THEN THEY WOULD COME OUT AND REPLACE IT! So she still has a defective tv, and has to wait till someone can come disconnect tv and then find time to bring it back. I bought lots of gifts on line this year and last and have never had this bad of customer service. Wont be ordering anything from best Buy in the future or recommending to anyone. With more and more people ordering online becareful because Best Buy wont stand by you

    I bought this yesterday then found out this was a 2014 model. Has refresh rate of 60 Hz, and worst of all the wall mount (no matter what kind you get, will cover most of the ports in the back including the LAN port. The brackets it comes with will allow you to pretty much nail it to the wall, which means you can't adjust/tilt the TV. I'm returning this tomorrow morning.

    All of the screws are missing. What a great way to force me too have to buy a wall mount. I'm still so mad I can't even go to the store to find a solution.

    Screen cracked after 3 weeks of using it.

    Screen broke three weeks after we bought it. Best Buy wouldn't work with us because it was a damaged screen and told us we had to deal with Sony. We were informed by Sony the screen was discontinued. We now officially have a month old $800 TV we have to pay off and it doesn't even work. The warranty does nothing! Extremely disappointed and think Best Buy could have worked with us.

    I do not recommend this tv, bad refresh rate that screws the tv out of everything, not enough apps, some apps you have to pay for, the quality is bad, you can actually see pixels when watching tv. Don't get,

    BAD CHOICE

    The store sales person recommended this TV and I made the mistake of not trusting my research and judgement and purchased this TV over the Vizio 55" HDTV. I took the Sony home and tried to set it up with all my internet accounts - HULU, NETFLIX, AMAZON PRIME and I could not get it to work with ANY of them. Their menus and set up instructions were too complicated and not intuitive. It couldn't find my WIFI and SONY product support was the WORST (except for SAMSUNG!). I took this TV back within 2 hours of buying it and exchanged it for a bigger better TV. The store personnel at customer services were great!

    Bought TV for my mother at Christmas. Developed blurred lines in picture. Still working with Sony to get replaced or fixed. BAD customer service from Sony and no help from Best Buy without extended Geek Squad warranty. If I didn't have extra TV to mount would be without tv for over three weeks. DONT BUY THIS TV

    Good APPS but very poor color

    After one night of viewing, I will return this tv. The color is very faded looking and dull. I have 3 other Sony tv's and they have vibrant colors. This one is not the quality I expected. It is my first smart tv and I liked the APPS. Not sure if it is this one particular tv or not. The reviews looked good before purchase.

    We had to return this Sony television as the audio sounded like it was coming out of a barrel and the video appeared to be a faded picture, even on hi-def tv channels

    Was very disappointed in color. Does not look anything like the tv in the store. Very faded picture from the side view even after two visits from geek squad. Some better this last visit. Also screen goes black every now and then.. Could not recommend this product.

    So I bought this tv on clearance at bestbuy.com. I had it shipped to my home. I opened the tv, plugged it in and voila! Broken screen. Not on the outside, but under the screen itself. I'm sure it was lovely but I had to return it. I exchanged it for a different model because this one was no longer available and ended up with a tv that didn't have the features I wanted, and at a price more expensive than the one I originally intended to buy. Sad

    this was a geek squad approved opened box tv. When I got it installed turned on it had black areas and you could see the inside when the picture was light in color so I had to return it.

    After 1.5 years it appears that something happen to the power supply (cord or internal). Now the TV won't power on at all and is simply dead. Very frustrated.

    The screen was damaged the 3rd week after I purchase it, very cheaply made. The coverage I purchase from Best buy did not want to repair it. Am still paying for it.

    I purchased this tv because the salesperson had highly recommended it. I took it home, after few hours I decided to exchange it for a Samsung which I love!!
