Sony always has sturdy and quality built speakers so it's the only ones I buy. It is a bit heavy and bulky but with the built in amp and 10" woofer, you gotta expect some size. It does have the auto shut off and separate controls to adjust in your favor. I wish it came with a more quality cable but just pick one up at Bestbuy to reduce potential humming if you have a lower end amp.

So I went out and bought one just to prove myself right and that I didn't need one. Well I was wrong this speaker is loud and with deep bass. If you don't have one I suggest you get it. you will be missing out.

After researching for a bit, i decided on this Sony sub and I am quite impressed with the bass. It's not overwhelming by any means, but you can definitely tell it's there. I enjoy listening to music in the living room while i'm cleaning, but also watching movies/games on this is sweet!
