The HX-80 does more for the price than anything out there.....great pics and ease of use. In my case being a novice I found I could "dummy it down" to meet my needs and go to more complex as I felt comfortable. I'm a "birder" and the tele lens gets me some great close ups. My only dislike is the small control buttons are hard to use with my 70 year old shaky hands.

This camera is a joy to use. 30x zoom is awesome. The video quality on movies is spectacular when viewed on a high definition TV. The audio is great too, even when filming from across the room. As for the photographs, you can put it on auto, and every picture comes out perfectly. I love this camera, and the best thing is that it fits on your belt. Great things come in small packages. Sadly, I probably won't use my 35mm camera again.

I wish the flash was part of the camera frame or for it to come out automatically...sometimes I forget and I have to re-take the picture with flash but sometimes that magic moment is gone. If you don't mind popping the flash, then this camera might be for you...it takes really good pictures with good light...better than my iphone x camera...way better and video is good enough...the stabilizer is a plus...

We bought this camera for our daughter who turned 14, but it’s a great camera for adults and families, as well. It’s small enough to travel with and takes amazing, clear pictures. It has an incredible zoom feature. It zooms in pretty far and keeps the image clear. It has a viewfinder that can be used when the sun doesn’t let you see the screen. This feature is very convenient.

If you need to zoom this is the camera. recommend having some kind of stabilization for going to the limits a mono pod is more than enough just something to rest it on.

It's a great compact camera that takes really good saturated pictures and videos, only issue I really have with this camera is that taking pictures at night is nearly impossible! Unless there's really great lighting or it's bright outside this camera is pretty weak in dimly lit settings but other than that it's pretty solid camera in bright areas!

I'm a photography hobbyist. I usually pack a large camera bag with gear around when I'm taking photos. This camera is a nice change for casual days. I like that this camera is small, but still powerful. 30x optical zoom, quality sensor, great selfie taker with its 180 degree tilt screen. Perfect to slip into a purse, or inner jacket pocket. WiFi is a plus! Send photos directly to your phone on the spot.

We had picked this camera up the night before our 2 week trip to Italy. The compact size is what drew us to this camera. The quality of the camera was great as we didn't take one bad picture, the features are nice like the picture balance to avoid 100's of crooked shots. When we developed our photos we were pleased with the results. Usually we just use our iPhones for pictures but I am glad we went with the camera for this trip.

Enjoy the many features available with this camera and the high quality Sony lenses. Takes great photos for a point and shoot. Camera speed is better than I expected.

This camera is user friendly and it takes great pictures. I brought back fantastic pictures of my European trip. I definitely recommend this camera to every traveler.

I got this product for my girlfriend because she wanted to start vlogging, it’s perfect for her. The flip up screen is extremely nice and the HD recording is just as handy :)

Takes very crisp pictures &I has a lot of great features. Haven't done a ton with it yet but so far I love it & took the best pics out all of the ones I tried out.

I got this camera cheap because my other Sony Camera was swapped out for this one under the lemon policy. I miss the GPS my Sony HX50 had but do like the Movable LED screen this one has. Also like the OLED viewfinder but it's very small & has to be flipped up AND pulled out to make it work, but does helps in bright sunlight. I don't know what the problem is with focusing but sometimes I can take 4 or 5 pictures in a row that are totally out of focus. we're not talking blurry like a camera shake..Just not focused. I keep trying different settings but still have this problem. After my last Sony spent almost half it's life in the shop getting fixed I'm thinking another brand for my next camera. I have to say when the focus works the quality of this camera is very good.

Purchased this before my son went to California for FBLA Nationals. He took a lot of great videos then put together a movie of this trip. The features are great.

I have only used it once or twice , I find it very good. Small but feels solid and the view finder in great. Has lots of features for when you feel creative

Easy to use, takes great pics , compact with easy charging

Much better than taking pictures with my phone. Lots of pixels so I can blow up sections of the pictures I want to print. The eyepiece is nice in the sun whic helps centering on subjust in the sun as the back screen is hard o see when it's sunny. Compact enough for my pocket but not so small that it's lost in my hand. Buttons are all in good places.

I love my new camera. I bought it because I wanted a pocket sized camera with a good zoom and great picture quality. I got all that and more in this camera. I am still learning new things it can do everyday, but so far everything has been easy to master. So whether you are new to photography or somewhat experienced you will enjoy this camera for it's features and ease of use.

this is my 3rd Sony point and shoot. this one has been the best of the bunch. takes great pictures. you just need to be patient to learn the functions.
