More than i was looking for. but i will get in to this camera as i go along.

For the intended purpose, this camera does not meet my needs. I do a lot of home inspections and take hundreds of pictures during each inspection. Right off the bat I found the lighting in the pictures to be extremely difficult to set where I needed. Using the auto function was useless as every picture was too dark and using the flash created so many shadows that the pictures could not be used to show the necessary detail. I have had to take all pictures in Program mode especially when taking pictures of a room in a house from multiple angles. Many pictures turn out blurry so I have to be overly careful not to have any movement whatsoever while taking the picture. Not so with my last point and shoot, which was a Canon. The flash pop up switch is hard to use due to it's location and size. It takes a concentrated effort to manipulate, which I need to do regularly. Of course, the pop up viewfinder is extremely easy to use as I've accidentally popped up the view finder many times but this is a feature I will never use, at least not on purpose. The flash mechanism itself seems fragile and I'm guessing I'll break that soon. Using the camera one-handed (right handed) has become very frustrating because I keep moving the control wheel. I believe there's a way to turn off the control wheel so I'll try that. It is nice to have the ability to put a date and time stamp on the picture, especially if I have to go to court. Unfortunately, there is no option to include the time on the stamp, only the date. The lack of a time stamp seems to becoming more common so it may be a petty gripe on my part. The wrap on the factory batteries tend to come loose. When the wrap is loose, the wrap prevents the battery from being fully inserted. Took me a little while to figure out why the battery would not fit but a dent in the wrap finally clued me in. Now I make surer to squeeze the wrap in place before inserting the battery. I purchased 3 spare batteries, all original Sony, and they all have the same issue. I read a lot of reviews and watched videos for this camera and many seem to love it. Unfortunately, it's not for me.

This product was a Christmas gift, so almost 5 months. This Camera has been easy to use, and so many different settings! I'm very happy with the pictures. You can seamlessly set up wireless transfer of your photos, no more cords!

Camera is good I bought it bc it was affordable for me to start my blogs for YouTube. I love it but o don’t like it doesn’t have a mic port to connect a external mic.

The Sony HX80 is an excellent camera. The quality is amazing and the zoom is magnificent! It zooms very far and very clear. This is a great camera for those who are beginning to look into photography or just want a good camera to take quality photos!

Has a lot of nice features. Still getting use to all the settings. Takes great pictures and videos. Had a Canon camera previously which took good photos but was outdated. Really good Zeiss lens on this one (which you find on more expensive cameras.

Bought this as a Christmas present for my daughter. She loves it so far.

Bought this for my wife to use on Her nature walks. She takes great photos, uploads them to a supplied App then onto her Facebook page. Great stabilization circuitry enables bluer free shots at zoom distance.

Purchased this camera to replace my much older Sony Cyber-Shot. I keep this camera with me at all times (in my purse) so that I can take photos or videos wherever I am. Never know when there is a photo opportunity!

Easy to use camera. Bought for my daughter who is getting into vlogging

Good camera that takes decent pictures. The zoom is definitely the best part of this device. The battery life suffers though and I’ve found myself only able to take about 30-45 pictures on a single charge.

Now this camera has the best of both worlds! Nice zoom, great optics, more options than i will ever learn, but they are there for those who do. Videos are nice as well. Love the fast burst rate! Best all around camera out there bar none!

I like it that it has huge zoom range, inbody steady-image that works very well when taking photo and noticable when recording video. I’m disappointed that the pictures it produces are all noticeably worse than the ones taken by the iPhone SE (let alone comparison with iPhone 6 or 7). Video quality is much better. I only recommend this camera for people who vlog, and wants the 30x zoom, but i do not recommend it for people who wants to take good pictures.

I love my camera! It zooms in and out a provide a great quality resolution of pictures and videos. Love this product; I took to my cruise ventures and have memories for life.

I got this camrea to use for traveling and times when my other camera is too bulky. It performs almost as well as my DSLR and does a lot of the same things. It has a viewfinder which is what sold me. Nice little unit.

I got this camera because I wanted to Vlog. Since I got it I have gone in a few trips and this camera has been a life saver. For pictures and videos its a great tool. If you are looking for a cheap alternative to the GX7 this is it.

Camera is durable and fairly easy to use. Wanted the DSC-HX90, but that model is not manufacturer any more. The DSC-HX80 is compact, I use the camera for building inspections.

I got this camera for my daughter. She is using it to Vlog, the picture is very clear and the mic is great too.

This camera does just about as much as the one that cost twice this and actually has a higher zoom power. Is easy to operate where even camera dummies like me can figure it out. Think we'll really enjoy this on our travels.

This is a nice little camera. Autofocus is great as well
