This headphones are Super nice they look good and very compact the only downside for me is they are not confortable after long period of use after watching a movie on my laptop I have to take a break after a fee days of use it get use to the sound quality its excellent

These headphones are really good. They have great base and can flip at the ear parts in case your a DJ. Honestly, I think that they're way better the Beats. The only downside is that it doesn't have a mic or volume adjuster.

These are great headphones. They're pricey, but their sound quality rivals phones costing twice as much. Not a truly flat response, but pretty close. The bass kinda booms out of the box, but let them break in for a few hours and they sound incredible. I wouldn't mix with them, but they work for general studio use and just casual listening. They could work for a DJ, depends on how much you toss your headphones around. They're pretty comfortable and look cool as well. They seem durable; most of my Sony headphones over the years have been, but only time will tell. Thankfully these appear to take standard Sony 40mm ear pads if they should need replacing in the years to come. I took off one star because no accessories of any kind were included. Thankfully I had an 1/8" to 1/4" adaptor, as my computer audio interface has a 1/4" headphone output. I know these aren't true professional headphones, and most everything takes an 1/8" jack nowadays, but still. A pouch would have been nice as well, especially for the price. Also, the cord is 47 1/2 inches long, plenty enough for me. I can see where in some applications this would be too short, but extension cables are readily available.

- Overall construction of these Sony's is nice and they feel solid. Bought these to replace an old set of cheap Panasonics that were falling apart from having been toted around in my backpack for years, so I like that they fold both flat for when I put them in my backpack as I don't have to worry about applying torque to the earcups and they're more comfortable to wear around the neck, and they fold compactly for when I've got them on my desk at work or home. I could take or leave the flat wire, I've got no real preference, but the angled jack is a big plus in my book because it cuts down on how much it protrudes from my iphone when it's in my pocket. - I like the sound quality, though it does sound like the bass is a little boosted compared to the headphones I use at home (Sennheiser HD280s). There's also plenty of volume to be had when I've been listening to music on my iphone and they're perfectly capable of drowning out a lot of noise, though keep in mind these aren't noise-cancelling so you'll have to crank it a bit.

My kids wanted Beats headphones for their birthday. I had never listened to a pair but they're everywhere so they must be awesome. I listened to 3 styles of Beats and I thought I was losing my hearing. The Beats sounded like I had put in ear plugs and then put on the Beats headphones. Muddled sound, very little clarity, they just sounded muffled to me. For that kind of money and the fact that I see them everhwhere, I expected a first rate product. Beats barely qualified as a distant 3rd rate headphone. A very distant 3rd rate headphone. 4th rate begins with 2 soup cans connected by a string. These Sony headphones are everything I expected the Beats headphones to be and a little more! A very pleasnt surprise. Live the flat cord, fantastic idea! Sound is so clear and a great range of sound. My kids were skeptical of these headphones because they weren't Beats, until they listened to them. They don't have any complaints at all. Many of their soccer team mates got Beats for Christmas but when they heard theses Sony's, about half of the kids showed up to the next game wearing these Sony's. Now at practices and games the half that kept their Beats headphones leave them in the car. Even rich, egotistical kids don't like to be reminded of their poor choices. Just take a listen to both the Beats and these Sony headphones and I'll bet the Beats isle will need al lot less stock and staff to maintain it.

Great sound and nice fit. They seem solid. Sound quality is good and the fit is snug.

When i got these headphones i wasnt sure what i got, but after hearing them i was fully satisfied. I even brought one for my wife. She really loves them. I've own a lot of pairs of headphones n most was sony, but was not happy with them bc of malfunctioning problems, BUT THESE R PERFECT N I ALSO LOVE THE FIT. THANKS SONY, U HAVE REGAINED MY TRUST WITH THESE. I can even sleep with these on.

These are a nice pair of headphones at a decent price. They fit snug and are comfortable for long periods of time and they are pretty good about keeping in sound so you can crank it up quite a bit and not worry about bothering others

I bought these headphones after weeks of research. I was not disappointed. Good sound, highs aren't too bright, excellent mids and good bass response without being overwhelming.

The headphones, for the price, surprisingly gave me a really nice sound. I mostly use these for working out in and for the most part they're really comfortable. Be aware that once they get sweaty, they can and will slide off your head pretty easily. I don't hold that against these headphones though as this is not the original intended use. You can almost think of these as Sony's attempt at a Beats headphones knock off (even down to the style of them). If you're looking for really good bass and pretty good sound at a lower price, you can't go wrong with these headphones.

I tried these headphones in the store and they sounded great for DJing purposes. They are not as expensive as some other headphones, and they are comfortable to wear which is a plus.

He's very happy with the sound quality and we were happy to find some more moderately priced headphones than others we'd found. A very good quality for the investment.

the sound is very good, I really like them but the only thing for me is the cord is a little short for me.

So, overall they're good. Especially if you're just sitting around and listening to things. However, there are some things you may want to consider. If you're getting them and expect to move around a lot, like walking to work or something, they squeak a lot. Like every step is a squeak. Also, if you have a big head, like I do, they kind of squeeze it a little, so not great if you have an ear that kind of sticks out. it'll feel a little sore after so many hours of listening.

Decent headphones, especially considering the price (compared to more expensive Beats versions). Good quality sound, nice design. Used myself, and then bought as a gift.

I am very pleased with my Sony head phones. The sound quality is fabulous and the fit of the phones is super!

I bought these to use on a plane trip instead of my regular ear buds. They were great, inexpensive and light weight head phones. I love the red accent and flat cord. They are NOT noise cancelling but did a great job on the flight. I wish they would have come with a carrying bag like my last pair of Sony head phones.

Positives, 10 Volume sounds like its on 20. Comfortable.
