Q: Do these headphones have any noise canceling, if so is it any good?
A: No, to my knowledge they don't cancel background noise but I do have a hard time hearing my wife talk to me.

A: There are no ipod/ipad specific controls for these headphones, but obviously they fit the connection so you can still use them.
A: The MDRV55 is not rechargeable. It is a plug and play type of headphones and has a Gold-plated L-shaped stereo mini plug. It can be connected to any television that supports stereo mini plug.
