I'd recommend investing in a better built mic. Another problem I encountered was I needed to hook it up with an audio cable to get my phone to read the the input.

Surprising quality issue from Sony. I would have expected better. Or perhaps Sony is resting on their reputation. Either way it's rather frustrating as I can't vlog with it like this.

Was also hoping it would pick up my voice from a distance. So far not really impressed with the item itself. A wireless mic might be a better choice.

Not working for my devices.
