It’s just about perfect for coperate headshots and portraits. It’s very sharp in focus and it’s ridiculously beautiful. I love it and I would recommend anyone to purchase this lens. Very Sharp kens

Higher f value doesn't mean sharper picture. Sweet f value is 2.8 to 10. Focusing is fast too. I like the brightness of the lens. Local store packed 135mm lens for my order. It was funny but got the correct item. Very helpful to use local best buy store.

A little on the expensive side but worth every penny. Lighter than its predecessor and the internal zoom makes it very practical.

Worth Every Penny!

It’s like the cheat code to photography when it comes to tele-zoom lenses. Very clean and crisp images!!! And the Bokeh… OMG!!! You won’t go wrong investing in this spectacular lens.

The best of the 70-200mm f2.8 lenses.

It is very sharp across the zoom range and offers a fast and accurate auto focus. This lens is at the top of its class of other lens manufacturers.

My main uses are sports and travel photography. Overall, the optical quality of the Sony 70-200mm GM is ok, but GMII’s images appear to have higher contrast. I did feel GM lens a bit heavy and the focusing speed less than satisfactory. For this reason, I ended up buying a Sony 70-200mm GMII in Best Buy. While GMII is priced $800 higher than older GM lens, I think it's worth it after comparing them for more than a month.
