It's a great lens with a good range of depth and aperture. It has already become my go-to lens for the Sont A7II. The images are sharp, the colors are vivid, all-in-all, a good purchase.

So far I have no issues with this lens. I bought the lens to compliment my SAL 70200g which is a awesome lens as well but quite a bit bigger. It is pretty quick focusing in good light but can hunt a little in low light which I expected. Its a pleasure to use. The extra 100mm is appreciated very much on my full frame A7. I plan on using it on my NEX7 as well.

Great lens for the price.Great for outdoor photography(wildlife,sports,etc)Good for medium range out to 200 yards or so.Clear image quality,I used this on a Sony A7 RII.

I use it for my kids sports games. It takes clear pictures and love the quality.

I bought the lens because I wanted a longer lens. I have not used it on any other Sony Caner except the Sony ARII. The lens is sharp and you can easily throw the background out of focus while your subject is still sharp. I'm satisfied with this lens.

This lens stays on my camera most of the time. Great for action shots as well as moon shots

A great tele lens for its price. The sharpness is good, and focus speed is fast. Focus ring and zoom ring has a good feel of resistance. Only drawback is a little bit too heavy being 2lb and lack of a tripod mount ring.

I take a lot of racing photos professionally. I wanted a lens that would give me that reach, but wouldn't be too bulky or weigh the camera down. ( I had to walk out to the track each time I was shooting and didn't want that weight to carry). I have to say it is pretty light considering how big it is. It takes amazing photos and easy to clean and keep safe!

Purchased the lens on Saturday and put it to use the Sunday after at the fairchild botanical garden in Miami. Very happy with my purchase. I wanted something with reach for wild life and this works perfectly mounted to my Sony a6000. Focus is fast, the only thing I would of appreciated more is if there was a collar that could be mounted to the lens.

I bought this lens because it was the only long lens available at the time. I am very satisfied with it although it is somewhat expensive and does not have a tripod mount. However, the image quality is very good and the zoom range is sufficient for my needs. Combine this lens with the Sony 35mm f2.8 for a good combination.

I like this lens, it is sharp, with fast focus and pretty contrasty. Maybe a bit heavy but that's the price you pay for good optics.

I bought this to replace my 24240 Sony lens in order to gain a bit more telephoto and because the 70300 G lens had improved optics. So far it has met by expectations. I have found that under some conditions, particularly low light, it is slower to auto focus. For landscape I leave the lens set on 3m to Infinity and that helps.. It is a well made lens.

This is great lens! Keep in mind, it is heavy for those who take sports photography and or runway photos. Clear pics with this lens

Great lens addition! I primarily use the 18-105 but this lens is awesome on the 6300. Ive taken some great pix in the first month that I have owned the lens. I recommend it for the money.

As of right now this is my favorite lens to use.. No complaints besides having to change lenses because the minimum zoom of 70mm… might purchase the Sony f4 24mm-105 soon to solve my issue..

This is currently my favorite lens. I have been able to capture such crisp photos of animals, landscapes, and more. I could not be happier. The only downside is that it is on the heavier/clunkier side, so be careful when setting it up on a tripod.
