I love this lens, it is crisp and clear, does decent in not so well lit areas. I use this to record my church services and it has been excellent to my work flow.

I was looking for a long lense for the A7Rii camera. Sony makes some of the best lenses out there. Amazing quality. And I love that it has optical stabilization.

So far, unit has performed as expected. Simple to install and intuitive to operate.

I'm writing this review from Maui just getting ready to leave and go back home I shot over 3500 pictures with this lens and they were spectacular.

A bit bulky and somewhat "heavy" but not deal breaker. Manual zoom is a little still sometimes (?)

Not as sharp as I would have expected for fast moving objectives like firefighter airplanes, but for ones works very good for everything else.

Not a professional, just enjoy it as a hobby. To me, a great buy for the the money. If you read the unhappy reviews you will never buy a lens, because the reviews are focusing on finding the negative and telling you to spend more money on something else that may cost you thousands more, for almost a minimal difference, if you are a professional go ahead and spend your money. For me is a great value and I'm happy with it, thanks.

I haven't used this for sports yet so I can't comment on how it performs on a fast pace. I have done some live action shots of company products being used and got sharp, good contrast shots. Very pleased with the performance. Much better than a standard 70-300 consumer lens, but not quite a super professional lens.

This lens blew me away. I just purchased my 1st full frame doler to shoot the outdoors as I hike and this lens is so sharp. Heavy lens but well worth carrying.

For the price, you won't find a more crisp lens out at 300mm. I took this lens through the Grand Canyon, Antelope, Monument Valley, Bryce, and Zion NP and it never failed me. Any lens that survives that dustbowl is more than air-tight.

As with all Sony G lenses, very good lens! I have tried 3rd party manufacturers but nothing beats the best.

It's a good lens if you know what are you doing. Only Bad are the SONY not included a tripod ring in this lens and all the weight are resting in the camera body .... a big mistake from Sony. This len are a little heavy.

This lens takes great photos. It’s got a lot packed into it. A great option for Sony full frame bodies.

I bought this for my wife and she loves it. It takes great pictures up close and from a far.

This lens i am using on my a6500 sony and it is a fe lens but it works great have not had any problems at all
