I was bummed the ps5 pro didn't have a disk drive but this works as designed

If you have physical ps4/ps5 games and ps5 slim/pro this is a must have , disc game will always be cheaper than digital

For those that want a disc drive for the PS5 but don’t have one, this is an absolute must.

Very useful item I needed to get back to viewing DVD’s and playing my favorites of games especially those I haven’t played in awhile.

I ordered this on December 24th and paid an extra $9.99 to have it arrive between 9 and 11 on December 26th. The shipping information wasn't sent to FDX until the morning of the 29th, and then wasn't picked up from a B&M store in Ardmore, OK until nearly 6 pm that evening. I finally got the item delivered on January 2nd at 1:50. FDX tracking number is 496869113932. The only message I received was from FDX about a winter storm in Minnesota, but that was several days AFTER the delivery was supposed to arrive. I called your support, but the poor girl had no idea what had happened, so she gave me the Geek Squad number. I called them, but got an automated recording that they would not search for a delayed item until it had been delayed by at least three days after the original delivery scheduled time and date (I called on Dec 26th at 5:34 pm, several hours after the scheduled delivery time had elapsed). It appears that no one knew what happened, plus it appears the stock that was supposed to be shipped in compliance with the delivery window was not accurate. I get that issues happen, but not knowing anything, no communication, or information is atrocious customer support. Also, this disk drive fits into the PS5 Pro via a connection and a metal prong that allows stability. That metal prong was completely bent out of place when I received it (the box was not damaged or tampered with). I had to use pliars to bend it back into shape, otherwise the unit would fail to connect. Pictures attached of the disk drive prong and the PS5 Pro connection.

It works as advertised but the PS5 Pro should have come with this or it should come in a bundle at a massively reduced price. However I'm thinking the PS6 might now even have a disc option so this might be our last chance to gather a disc collection. So go for it if you care about that like I do.

Couldnt upgrade to the PS5 Pro without a disk drive. Really easy install and is actually a bit quieter than the original ps5 drive.

I'm extremely disappointed that the PS5 Pro didn't come with a disc drive, forcing me to shell out extra cash for this separate accessory. The drive itself works fine, but it's frustrating that it wasn't included in the initial purchase. It feels like a money grab, especially considering the premium price of the Pro console. If you're looking for a disc drive for your PS5 Pro, this is the one you need, but be prepared for the added expense.
