Had to purchase this because of the ps5 pro. Highly recommend if you still love physical media, Not if you prefer a digital library.

Probably a little pricey based on what it is, but it’s the only option if you have an PS5 and digital games, and works great.

I think its unfair from Sony to have to purchase a disk drive after spending almost 800 bucks on just the console, but its definitely a must have, it basically turns your PS5 into a high end DVD Player.

Haven't used yet but keeping as a backup for our disc version. Make sure you have the slim model, we do not for our digital model, so this isn't useful. My fault, I didn't notice the difference.

Listen, it works and does everything is supposed to, but it should be included on the PS5 Pro and the fact that you have to register it online is absolutely asinine! Just get a new PS5 PRO but PSN is down? Congrats on your fancy new paperweight! Not only can you not play digital games, but you also cannot play physical games until the drive is registered once PSN comes back online.

I bought this because I got the PS5 Pro and wanted to play discs on it. It works exactly how it’s supposed to, but if it wasn’t for the fact that you have to buy it separately, it would have a better rating.

At absolute must if you have a PlayStation Pro… I prefer physical than digital

I love having backwards capability. This is a must-have for the PS5 pro.
