I bought this disc drive for my PS5 Pro, and it works perfectly. Installation was quick and simple, and it runs quietly while reading games and Blu-rays. The design matches the console nicely, and performance is smooth with no lag. Definitely worth it if you want to enjoy physical discs on your PS5 Pro.

This is a must have add on if you like physical games. It’s a little loud at times but overall games have been running great.

I ordered the open box PS5 Slim disc drive after finding out it was available. Delivery was quick and the installation was VERY easy. I’ve watched BluRays, played PS5 games, and enjoyed the complete look. It comes with the new feet as the older ones will not work. It was a great deal. Literally plug and play.

I personally do not like digital games due to the fear of something happening to my ps5 and then me losing everything. I also like discs for the aesthetic and the vibe. My concerns with getting this was if it was going to work and if it was easy to assemble. To my surprise, it was extremely easy to assemble and there was only 3 steps to set it up. The disc drive works very well too. It doesn't cause the game to overheat and it doesn’t scratch the discs or put up a hassle when trying to get them out. I'm going to buy this for my brothers.

I bought this disc drive to use with the PS5 Pro, and it works exactly as advertised. I mainly wanted this so I could play my older physical PS4 and PS5 games and watch Blu-ray discs, and it’s been flawless so far. Disc reading is quiet, loading times are fast, and there haven’t been any errors or disconnects. It blends in well with the console too, so it doesn’t feel like an awkward add-on. The only downside is the price, which feels a bit high for an accessory, but if you already own the Digital Edition and want physical game support, this is really the only official option. Overall, it does exactly what it’s supposed to do and gives you the flexibility of both digital and disc games.

Easy to install. Works perfect. If any questions, watch a video on YouTube first. It also helps hold the unit upright. My only concern is it should be included with the PlayStation when purchased.

I bought this for my PS5 Pro and it fits perfectly. Had no issues installing it and the PS5 recognized it right away. Only issue is the price and if you want a disc PS5 Pro, you are forced to buy this.

I recently bought the new PS5 Pro, and it does not have a disc drive. I usually buy disc version of video games. A must buy if you need a disc drive for your PS5 Pro. It was easy to install. The drive has a cover plate that comes with it. After installation, the drive and cover looks original manufactured. Before you can play disc on the drive, you will have to connect to the internet to register your disc drive to your console. It was easy, I needed a disc drive for my console, comes with parts I need like the longer footstands and cover. I recommend this item if you still want to stick to playing disc versions of games.
