Owned for 5 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This product saved me I bought the slim when it was released and after the first disk I used everything went off track so I put it together and the after a month it completely broke PlayStation wouldn’t do anything about it so I looked around for a new one and Best Buy had the best prices and it’s been going strong ever since and I’m absolutely happy with it

Now, whether i want to get a new digital game or play one of my already purchased diac games, I'm good!

Decent peripheral if you need it

That said: it's a very nice peripheral and if you want to add functionality to a regular Ps5 that accepts this (or a Pro), it was incredibly easy to do so, and worked with no issues.

A MUST FOR ANY DISC COLLECTOR

Well, it works...

Can’t live without it

Getting the PS5 disc drive lets me keep that experience at home and play the discs I buy, which honestly makes me really happy.

It was a little bit of a pain in the butt to get set up and going, but once it was ready, have had no issues.
