Save physical media!

It took a while to track this down since it was hard to get when the Pro came out. But even since I've been just buying physical games. Bonus: Games get cheaper faster when they are physical.

Ps5 disc drive a must for console enthusiasts.

This will help at those times the physical copy is marked down less than the digital version when not on sale. Hopefully since my physical library of games will be small the less frequent use will allow the drive to survive indefinitely.

Ps5 disc drive

I was able to put it inside the ps5 so I can play disc games and watch 4k movies. So it plays ps5 games very well. So I would recommend it to anyone who doesn’t have a disc drive and like to play ps5 games on a disc

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had no idea that you could upgrade the disc list version of the ps5s especially the pro with this upgrade but once I did I was able to purchase battlefield 6. On disc so I can play it on my PS5 Pro without having to worry about only digital and now I can also use my disc version of Gran Turismo 7. Plus what's the point of having a Blu-ray enabled game system if you can't play your Blu-ray movies if you still have those on it? Overall I would say this was a great upgrade. The price could be a little bit lower but being PlayStation just like any other major company their prices never seem to be that affordable LOL
