I was not expecting to much after seeing some of the reviews. I have been pleasantly surprised how good this device is. I have gigabit internet, so my connection has been excellent, and I have really not seen any noticeable lag.

It doesn't always run at the best quality. Sometimes it is crystal clear and smooth, but others, it is choppy, bad resolution, laggy response time. I only just got it though so I'm not sure the good/bad ratio yet.

If you have an ethernet connection and decent wifi to your Playstation you will love this.screen is great controls feel great in hand it's an extension of your PS5. You can play in bed at the sofa without interrupting the rest of the family watching t.v..

i love it, it works great. i be at working playing some guys you guys should try it.

My 5 year old son is very happy with the way he can play all his ps5 games

It has its limitations , not very good for playing competitive online shooters, but perfect for RPG games , no tv no problem , visiting the in laws , no problem , all you need is reliable wifi connection and you are set .

This device finally freed up my living room TV! The kids say it’s “awesome”.

Everyone hating on it because it remote play but i love it i can take it anywhere and play my ps5 games as i please. 60hz with a solid connection is good for me i play multiplayer games and story mode games such a great investment

The portal is great. Would rate it higher but disconnects at times from the PS5. Works very well at home or from another location. Graphics great. Enjoy the device. At times wish it would have more functions.

Its ok but if you dont have the right wifi power its not good at all. Make sure you have a strong wifi or mesh system if you have dead spots or it won't do well with live gaming

This console is great! It was a birthday gift for a 14 year old and they love it. We stay on the go and being able to continue in game play has been great for them!

I'm extremely disappointed with the PlayStation portal, and I'm not alone. As a long-time PlayStation fan, I expected a seamless and user-friendly experience, but what I got was a clunky, slow, and frustrating interface. Firstly, the navigation is a nightmare. The menu is cluttered, and finding what you need is like searching for a needle in a haystack. Simple tasks like downloading games or accessing settings become an ordeal. The slow loading times and frequent errors only add to the frustration. The portal's design is also visually unappealing, with a dated look and feel that lags behind modern standards. The layout is confusing, and essential features are hidden behind unnecessary layers. But what's even more disappointing is the lack of functionality. Basic features like game organization, friend management, and notification settings are either missing or poorly implemented. The search function is unreliable, and the store is a mess, making it hard to find new games or deals. Some other issues I've experienced include: · Frequent disconnections and errors · Unresponsive customer support · Poor optimization for different devices · Limited customization options Overall, the PlayStation portal feels like a step backward in terms of user experience. It's a shame, considering the excellence of the PlayStation consoles and games. I hope Sony takes user feedback seriously and revamps the portal to match the quality of their hardware and software. Recommendation: Until significant improvements are made, I recommend using the console interface or exploring alternative gaming platforms with more user-friendly portals.

The controller really is the selling point, the tirggers and the vibrations are what make it worth the money. Best to think of this accessory not as a portable console but as a different sort of pro controller.

Works pretty well. A little input lag to be expected, makes playing Elden a little harder but as long as you have good, expansive WiFi you should be fine
