The product is good for kid use and to travel for entertainment wise for a child, but the control take some time to get used to moving from a normal PS5 control to this unit

People keep saying this is unnecessary but when you have kids who want to watch tv this is a must. Sometimes you don’t always want to be in front of a tv or monitor and you just want to sit back on a couch and game.

Concept is good but some games are slow and it won’t work while you travel because you don’t have network connection .

I’m actually enjoying my PS portal more than I expected I would. I’m enjoying it very much purchase. I would recommend this to somebody who likes to multitask.

The PS portal does it's job as advertised. Great screen quality, weight, and battery (if you take the constant light and control vibration). It's a great addition to all my gadgets.

Purchased in may of 2024 and returned less than a week later. Cod was too laggy to play, gta 5 was ok but a bit laggy. Diablo was the only game i could play without issue and $200 was not worth that on top of my ps had to be on to even use it which was slso not eortb it because if im 2 states away on vacation and theres a thunderstorm i ridk my PlayStation being fried. Psp is a better idea hopefully they bring that into play because this aint it.

PlayStation portal saved my life amazing product especially with the new update..

My husband loves it. Unfortunately we live in an area where the reception isn’t great so it does glitch sometimes even with high speed internet. But convenient to take on trips and not have to bring the whole console.

I’m sitting right outside my house in the car and the wifi just won’t stay connected. Not to mention you can’t even go anywhere far from your game it’s like a household handheld and that’s not what we signed up for. I have xfinity btw. It says all you have to do is have your game in rest mode and it will connect. That’s not true cause the portal needs wifi to connect to connect to the system and even the the connection will be weak and it will back you out. I’m highly disappointed. Sony lost me with this one

Over all I like it. A little disappointed with some of it's limitations Just wish 2 accounts could be played at the same time. One on the portal while the other account is playing directly off ps5.

Works great as a ps5 remote play device. Screen is great and the controller is comfortable. The thumb stick are a bit smaller than the regular dual sense and the battery life is not great, but overall great product.

Great handheld addition for the PlayStation ecosystem especially when you have people over and/or on the road.

Unit feels like you have a PS5 remote on hand. Love the screen and the resolution is perfect. Recommend to any PS5 lover. The only downside is the lack of Bluetooth.

It’s great to play your PS5 games anyway in the house or anywhere you have an internet connection.

If your wifi is not perfect GTA 5 looks and sounds terrible. It can work better if you have wired internet for the ps5 and wifi for the device.

It’s definitely worth it if you share a tv with family or you travel often.

This device is everything wanted with the abilty to play your PS5 anywhere in the house with all the features of the dualsense. No slow down or lag. This was worth the purchase.

Its simple to use and not heavy screen is large enough to see details full hd is clear and detailed play a large group of games anywhere theres internet the portability of a switch with the loading speeds of a ps5
