When connecting to a PS5, we have to connect the headset to a headphone terminal on a PS5 controller. My Headset For When I Am In The Zone

I love my bluetooth headset but this Inzone headset truly has a different approach to sound and is crisp in a way that my other headset is not. For instance, I was in a first person view shooting game and at first I thought my dog was crunching on a chip or something but what I was hearing was footsteps nearby in the game. I had to remove the ear piece from my ear to figure out what the sound was. That had me sold in an instant. I can't control the activities around me while traveling and so being able to connect to my laptop with premium audio is a requirement. These headphones meet that requirement and more. If you're wondering about comfort I love the leatherette type ear cushions. Anything with cotton makes my head hurt and honestly makes me really hot. These I wore recently for about 5 hours straight and I didn't have a headache and I did not feel like I had to take a break from my team. So when you plug in the device with the auxiliary cable your sound isn't as dynamic as it is when you use the connector with the USB. The USB connector wire that comes with the headset is what gives you that enhanced audio. You also gain the benefit of a longer cord so that you can sit comfortably on your sofa and not have to sit so close to the PS5. At first I figured that the enhanced audio might only work for the gaming PC I have but feedback I received from my team online was that the audio was a lot better in my microphone when I switched between USB connections. The design is true to the images you see online and the actual structure doesn't feel like they went the economical route on the actual body of the headset. My one bit of feedback is that the volume dial could have been a little more enhanced. I feel like it is sensitive and so you have to be careful how much you wind the dial or you can go from the highest volume to mute in a jiffy. Overall a great headset for someone who loves wired headset gaming who is a beginner or a pro. You gain comfort, you don't compromise with having to charge the device, and you get the benefit of the full on experience of the 360 degree sound.

I was surprised that they included two 3.5mm adapters and this is welcome feature for the quality it provides. The sound quality works great in first person shooter games where hearing the enemy first gives the advantage. There are other headphones with better quality sound, but not at this price point. the INZONE software gives you control to tailor the sound to your like. Another huge benefit is the lightweight and comfort of the ear cuffs. They stay cool, and breathable, during long gaming sessions. They have the slight flexibility to form perfectly to your ears. They are not noise cancelling, but shield outside noise very well. The mic works well and easily muted by sliding to the up position. The length is just right to pic up your voice well and not get in the way too much. They are not the fanciest headphones but the curved design looks cool and the white color looks great. The cord length of 10 ft is plenty long enough and my biggest challenge is keeping all the extra hidden. I prefer having to manage the extra cord than not have enough for all the locations I will be using.

Impressive sound from a great looking headset
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sony is in a unique and unenviable position in the gaming audio market, as a respected name in home audio and especially with mainstream headphones. I haven't had the opportunity to use their previous gaming headsets marketed primarily at the PlayStation crowd, but I was definitely interested in trying out the INZONE H3 with my gaming PC, and I'm happy to say that it did not disappoint at all. Out of the box experience was pretty basic with the INZONE H3 - Sony did a great job with the packaging, paying attention to the details like cardboard rings around the earpads to keep them from being compressed in shipping. The headset has a permanently attached 3.5mm plug and includes a USB dongle with an exceptionally long cord of its own - HUGE thumbs up to Sony for this. Comfort is exceptional, the ear cups and headband are nicely padded with soft foam, and there is plenty of adjustability in the headband and angle of the earcups to get a good fit that isn't pressing down on your head. The foam on the ear pads is soft enough that it didn't feel like it was pretty too hard on my glasses - it's not as good as some other brands that have a special groove in the earpad for glasses, but it's the next best thing. Sound quality is excellent for audio playback for music and games, as well as for the microphone. I have worn the headset for some gaming sessions on Discord as well as in a few Teams meetings. In one of the work meetings one of my coworkers remarked on how great the audio sounded - so Sony is definitely doing something right! With the INZONE Hub application you can customize the mic 'sidetone' as well as automatic gain which is handy, although there isn't any ability to get noise canceling for the microphone in Sony's built-in apps. You're going to need to rely on a separate app for that. The INZONE Hub also gives you the ability to enable Spatial Sound, which automatically changes the device to 7.1 surround in Windows. Doing back to back comparisons with the spatial sound on and off left me with a slightly negative impression for music listening, but for games and movies the spatial sound works really well and doesn't have as much of a "pressure" sensation as with some other 3D audio schemes for stereo headsets. Really the only complaints you could have with the INZONE H3 are things that you can't complain about given the price. It doesn't have noise cancelling and it isn't wireless - but you are getting something that sounds better than any wireless headset I've used at a far lower price. It only has a single control on the headset itself (for volume), but the mic flips up to mute so there really isn't anything else you need. Maybe Sony could have included a spatial sound button/switch on the headset, but that's getting pretty nitpicky. Huge recommendation on the INZONE H3 - probably my favorite headset that I've reviewed, I will be using this one for a long time.
