As for the Wide Area Tap function, which allows you to control the earbuds by tapping your earlobes, can indeed be challenging for some users. To address your concerns, you can customize the tap functions using the Sony | Sound Connect app. Here are the steps to disable or adjust the Wide Area Tap function:
Open the Sony | Sound Connect app.
Select the System tab.
Disable the Wide Area Tap function or adjust the settings to better suit your preferences.

We understand that the fit of the earbuds is crucial for comfort and performance. The LinkBuds Fit are designed to be open cell, but if they feel like they are falling out, it might be helpful to ensure that the ear-fitting supporters are properly attached and the earbuds are correctly inserted in your ears. You can refer to the instructions in the Sony | Sound Connect app for proper fitting.

As for the Call Quality, we're sorry if it did not meet your expectations. This is not the experience we aim to provide. We recommend checking the Bluetooth connection and ensuring that there are no obstructions or interference that might affect call quality. And for the Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), the double-tap function should work seamlessly, but if it is not responding, please try disabling the Wide Area Tap function in the Sony | Sound Connect app and see if that resolves the issue. Additionally, make sure the sensors are clean.

While it sounds like you've already been through a lot of troubleshooting, there are a couple of crucial steps that sometimes get missed. If you haven't already tried these specific actions, please give them a try:

2) Please take a moment to double-check that the charging contacts on both the left earbud and in the charging case well are perfectly clean and dry. Because these are open-ring, sometimes lint or a tiny bit of ear wax can block the connection and prevent the earbud from fully charging or turning on.

We’re sorry to hear they sometimes pop out during your workouts, though. To ensure optimal performance, as well as to obtain the best fit and prevent the headset from falling out, change the earbud tips to ones that fit more snugly in your ears. When changing the earbud tips, try the earbud tip sizes in order from the larger ones to the smaller ones. The size of the left and right earbud tips may be different.
