Sound Quality is Garbled!!

I will have to say JVC was one of the best and Sony needs to work on their sound quality. These Bluetooth are very comfortable, but the sound quality is very garble.

Nice Sony Earbuds but.....

They fit well and I like the noise canceling and the option to here my surroundings. The music sounds really great and I can skip to the next song if I want. However, I can't go back to repeat a song and must importantly I can't control the volume. I thought if I swirled my finger around the left bud, the volume would go up or down. Instead I have to use my phone to control the volume. This would've been beneficial for me. I also can't pause it on the first try. I have to tap it more than once to pause which makes me have to pull them out my ears when someone approaches me or begins to talk.

You can actually go to the previous track and adjust the volume using the touch sensor of the linkbuds without using your smartphone. You will just have to setup these features using the "Sony | Headphones Connect” app. For more information, please refer to this link:

Fantastic Earbuds

The sound quality on these headphones is truly amazing. There's a depth to the music that my other pairs of headphones can't deliver. They have taken listening to music to another level. The noise cancelling on the Linkbuds S is also fantastic. The earbuds themselves are very light, which means that I barely feel them when they're in my ears. The case itself is also pretty small. One note I want to make about sizing: I typically wear medium or large tips with my earbuds (e.g., JBL Reflect Aero). With the Linkbuds S I need to wear the large tips--if I don't the noise cancelling doesn't work very well (due to poor sound isolation). I mention this in part to give guidance on sizing for others. I also mention it because some people wonder about the size difference between the LinkBuds S and the Sony WF-1000XM4 (with many people saying the XM4's are much larger inside the ear).

Average Earbuds with a few good features.

The noise-cancelling performance is suprisingly close to that of the AirPods Pro 2, which is impressive. One of the best features is the ability to connect to two devices simultaneously via Bluetooth, which is super convenient for multi-tasking. The sound quality is crisp and smooth, and the Sony Connect app allows for some light EQ customization. However, there's no touch-to-connect feature, and I did run into occasional issues where one earbud would stay active in the charger, causing audio to still play from it. Still, a solid option for the price.

This pair of earbuds also come with an immersive sound quality thanks to its Integrated Processor V1, regarding the touch-to-connect feature that is something that will take into consideration for future improvements. As per the issue where one earbud would occasionally stay active in the charging case this is not a common behavior and here are things you can try to solve it:
1- Disable google assistant function from the Sony headphones connect app
2- Make sure the headphones have the latest software version

Excellent products disappointed response on batter

Now that side will drain the battery in less than 1 hour while the other side is still at 85%. I really like them but so disappointed on this and Sony will not offer any discounts to replace them as Bose and others will do...

I have been hesitant to buy wireless earbuds because of the size and weight, and these are small and light, and they stay in my ears really well. The Noise cancelling and "transparent mode" called ambient mode both work really well. I can use them for about 3 hours and have around 45% of battery using noise cancelling, which I feel is pretty good. The app is also pretty useful, and it has a lot of features that I don't use since I just use them while at work, and I sit at work almost all day. One thing that was concerning that I found a fix for was when I set them up I enabled google assistant, and it ended up draining the right bud way faster than the left, up to 20% sometimes. I turned it off, and now it is within 6% of each other at all times. The case charges the buds pretty quickly, although there are faster options for sure. I know I'll keep an eye on this line of buds, and hope they get a refresh in a year or 2.

Like the wirless connection to my laptop.

Comfort, great sound, unreliable battery

Sadly, the right earbud battery broke after a year. Only last less than 30 minutes and it's very annoying, basically I only have 1 bud and 1 temporary (while thenleft one charges). I don't know if I would buy this one again.

Fantastic Earbuds

I've had the Galaxy Buds Pro, those were too big and heavy. Had the Airpods Pro, those always felt like they'd fall out. But these are hardly even noticible in my ears. They're small, lightweight, and have a solid fit. As for sound quality, they're the best sounding buds I've tried so far, with good range and balance. The noise cancelling is top notch, which is no surprise from Sony, but the transparency mode is something else. I honestly thought the Airpods Pro transparency was good, but these are even better, its almost like im not even wearing the buds! But, no product is perfect, these are no exception. To be completely honest, the case feels cheap for $200 earbuds. I know they're made of recycled plastic, but you can definitely feel it a little too much. And worst of all in my opinion, there is no bluetooth multipoint. So if you got multiple devices, you'll have to manually reconnect when switching devices. Other than that, they're great!

Really good earphones, but app screws you

Sound quality is really good. Bass aight heavy but you shouldn't expect heavy base on earphones like these, buy headphones instead. Battery I get 4 in a half hours on each earphone without the Sony app. Connection on a Google pixel 6 is amazing. I can leave my phone in another room and walk away for a good 30 ft before I start getting connection issues. To be able to use each earphone individually don't download the Sony app since it will change up all the setting and not allow you to use the left one without having the right one on.

For your issue, as part of normal operation, you cannot use only the left unit of the headset when Service Link is turned on from the “Sony | Headphones Connect” app. However, you can use only the right unit of the headphones. And depending on the assignment of the touch sensors and/or the Voice Assistant setting, you may not be able to use only one unit of the headset. Really good pair of earbuds

It's been at least 2 months since I purchased them and I have to say that they are definitely worth it for the price. I had purchased them while they were discounted and ever since I've been enjoying them while i am at work. My only issue and the only reason why it's not a 5 star is because the battery life is kind of ehh. They usually die half way into my 8 hour shift and in order to enjoy them for longer i have to charge them while on my breaks, but honestly other then that these are perfect pair of earbuds if you can get them discounted

The noise canceling effects may not be achieved depending on how the headset units are worn. To make the most of the noise canceling function, we recommend to make sure that headphones are worn properly and also turn off the Adaptive Sound Control, and try to turn on the noise canceling function manually when you need it. The noise canceling function is effective in low frequency ranges such as airplanes, trains, offices, near air-conditioning, and is not as effective for higher frequencies, such as human voices. Battery's not long for this world.

The noise canceling and pass-through also sound great. Great connection with my phone and watch, I never had drop-outs. The battery life, when new, was great. However, the battery is now to the point where the right earbud is dead after 25-30 minutes despite starting with a full charge. These are only 15 months old, of course just outside the warranty window. That's a major disappointment and makes these effectively short-term e-waste. I suppose it's a similar story for most earbuds, unfortunately.
