I got this as a package deal with my Sony AS200V. Wow does this thing make it easy to start and stop recordings while using the camera. Once you do the initial sink between the two units there is nothing else to do. When you turn them on together they automatically find each other. There is a LED light that lets you know if you are sinked and when you are recording. All you have to do is push the record button on the remote and the camera starts to record. Hit the button again and the camera stops recording. The picture is small but it lets you see exactly what you are filming. The range from the camera is limited but that has not been a problem. When you first look at the remote. It looks big and bulky. Once you put it on a wear it for a little while you forget that it is even on your wrist. You can put it on and wear it just like you would a large watch. It stays put and is comfortable to wear for long periods of time. I got this remote for when the camera is mounted on a vehicle. That way I can see where it is pointed without all the guess work. Also, I would not have to get out of the car to turn it on and off.

This watch was easy to use and is necessary if you buy the Sony action camera. It can take a little bit of time for the camera and watch to sync over wifi, but it is so nice to actually be able to see the image you are about to take a picture of.

This is a great accessory for the Sony Action Cam. It is easy to set up and use and allows the user to visualize the scene and control the recording from a secure wrist strap. I find the picture clear and the strap secure.

I bought this for my first Spartan race. I have used it on a couple of times already and I'm very happy with it, I will be able to use it for what I bought it for in less than 48 hrs. AROO! My friend also bought one. He is also happy with it.

The Sony Live View Remote is a great add-on to the Sony AS100 HD Action Cam. It paired up easily with the AS100. I mainly use this as a remote when the action cam is in a fixed position. Very easy to use.

Glad I opted to buy this, it gives me a way of framing my shot before I commit to filming. The remote control is great for being able to do my own shots while alone.

Used it while snorkeling while on vacation and it's awesome. I don't need to buy a waterproof case for the phone and also saves the battery of my iPhone while on dry land. Plus it's always on my wrist and I can always use both of my hands while swimming or holding anything.

This live view remote is a must. It adds the ability to see exactly what you are shooting. It is great that it is water proof just like the camera.

I think these are awesome and very useful, if they change anything, make it charge while in use when pluged into a power source.

Connecting to multiple cameras is tricky at first-keep trying and look up how to video on the web It's easier to use with camera than phone or tablet, but smaller. Switching between multiple cameras is simple as pushing a button. Can be used as a simple live view security system, but with a limited range. Good product but overpriced.

I bought this as a bundle to go along with a Sony Action Cam. It was easy to get this and the camera connected and it's easy to use. I thought I would need a display while taking video or photos. Turns out it's not needed! At least not for what I use it for - I usually carry the camera around, point it, shoot and the videos turn out fine. The remote does work great and the picture is clear. I just find it's not absolutely needed. Plus - there's an app for smartphone that allows the phone to act as a remote that seems to do everything this remote does. Think carefully about your needs/uses of the camera before adding the remote to your pile of camera accessories.

Very useful remote for controlling start and stop of action cam.

Took this fishing with me the other day. Held the camera and the screen under the water and I could still control the camera and see the screen.

Good product, would be better if it had playback mode

this is def nice to have... very useful if seeing what ur recording as your recording it... when the sun hits the screen makes it really hard to see which sucks but not a huge issue.... this one doesn't have the play back option but i know the new model does which is def a nice option to have!

This watch works great with the Sony Cam. It is nice to be able to see what the cam is catching.
