The battery life is amazing, and storage is great. The included program was easy to set up and use.

This MP3 player is very easy to use, extremely lightweight and will hold a very large amount of music. It's musical output is very clear and strong. It works very well in an exercising environment, though you will probably want to purchase more comfortable headphones/earbuds.

works easy and long lasting battery. sound is good. ease of use is a plus. compact size allows you to place in a pocket and not feel loaded down. love the color choices. I would recommend this to anyone.

Sony Walkman is just the right type of device for how my wife uses it. The 4Gb model has plenty of storage for the music she wants to play while she works. It plays mp3 and mp4, plus other file types, so she can play music we have ripped in Media Player as well as iTunes. iPod is more than twice the price, and is locked in to iTunes media. Since she does not want to tie up her phone with music, this is the perfect device for her. Lasts for days on one charge. My only complaint- the power off function was a bit difficult to master.

I started out with this 4GB model and while loading 8 to 10 albums I saw it was getting short of storage memory. I like the size, weight and control functions of the Walkman over the iPod I previously used. I would recommend the 4GB for small children and have the parents add / delete the music. As to serious users, go for the 8GB or if you can afford it buy the 16GB which I feel is way overpriced.

Looking for a solid and simple music player and did not want to invest alot of money in another Apple product. Went with this model after reading the reviews while scanning the shelves of all the music players. I used my iTunes account to fill the music selection and it was painless. the menu selection buttons are kinda straight forward and the player has worked flawlessly since I have run it. Keeps a good charge and I am happy with its performance.

I bought this player for my 77 year-old mom to use when she walks in the mall. Cliché, right? But she says walking in the mall is boring and I got my love of music from her and my dad so I thought this would be the perfect solution. She loves it! Its simple to use, has a nice size screen that's easy to read even for her. Screen resolution is a little, I'll call it fuzzy, but it works for her. I'd find it kind of annoying. At 4 gig it holds more music than she currently owns, so I've been busy loading it up for her. The size is convenient for travel as well. The ear buds are serviceable, but work well enough for her. If it were mine I'd definitely upgrade on that front. For the price it's a great little player and does exactly what I need it to do.

This MP3 Player is pretty small and very easy to use. I bought it to use while working out. It is light weight and has a think profile. It fits easily into a pocket.

Very nice MP3 player. Easy to setup and download music to get started. Controls and display are bright, colorful, and sound through the included ear buds is excellent. Turn on process is "different" until you get used to it, probably a safety feature so it doesn't turn on by accident and drain the battery unintentionally. Sony products are very good, but a bit on the pricey side.

I'm a long distance runner and a sport addict. It fits my needs and the buttons don't get pushed inadvertently. Easy to use. Compact and light. I don't have to charge it too often. Great value for the price. A real keeper! Can store so many songs!

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my mother, who wanted a reliable MP3 player for her personal use. So far, she's had no problems with uploading her preferred music tracks or other media. The battery life is good, and lasts more than enough for her daily walks. It's pretty user-friendly, and easy enough to configure for your personal tastes. I would recommend this for anyone looking for a reliable MP3 player at a decent price.

While it is not as elegant as an ipod this mp3 player was really the only other choice I found that had good reviews. And the price was right, the 4GB was on clearance for under $50. I'm not crazy about the textured plastic look and it takes a bitt to get used to the menu system (again it's not as elegant as an apple product) but the sound quality seems great and it's small (but not too small) and light. Haven't had a chance to test the battery life yet but if it's even half of what's advertised it'll be good enough for me.

Gave it as a gift to my daughter. Easy to use and great sound quality. Battery lasts very long too.

A great MP3 player at a fraction of the cost of the big apple products, don't get me wrong, love the apple, I have several. However, for the price and performance of this device I would purchase again, copy tunes direct from the PC, no iTunes to install. Oh yeah, that is what I do not like about apple, the PC crippling iTunes app.

This product is great. I use it to listen to downloads while walking. I was amazed at the great sound that it gives. Good price for the quality of the product.

A bit on the spendy side, $50, but is a great quality MP3 player. Shows pics, videos, music (MP3, WMA, etc), has a radio and the red color rocks. It is sturdy enough for the usually not so gentle 5 year old hands.

i own 2 older models of this sony!! they are great too! this new model is good too! i love the sony mp3 players. they are easy to load music to. and they sound great. you charge with your usb on your computer.
