The recoder does everything I need. The microphone is sensitive and picks up everything even in pants pocket. Playback is loud and clear. USB transfer of files is easy.

Works okay however this sound is not as good as I like it to be I was expecting a little bit more out of this product for the price that I paid for it.

I use this little bad boy for when I’m on the road and and idea or rhythm pops in my head while I’m playing my instruments so I can record them right then and there!! ADHD Makes it so hard to remember what chords and rhythm I played when I get back home. This recorder sounds great, it’s compact, relatively user friendly, and a steal for the price!!

This truly is a great recorder. Use it to record my study materials for my exams. During playback there is virtually zero background noise and the recording is crisp and clear. Also, it is small, fits in my shirt pocket and it is very easy to navigate! so far the battery lasted about a week of continuous use and is not dead yet.

I used a version of this Sony recorder for 20 years and still works. But I wanted the latest model with a much bigger internal memory AND I added a 32G micro-SD card. Lots of memory which may come in handy for capturing a long lecture or meeting. Memory is like closet space, one never had enough...but, with this recorder I've got plenty! Stereo built-in mike is excellent - great quality. And you can plug inan aux. microphone - just make sure you have one with the correct mini-plug. Glad to have this replacement for my older unit. - Instructions could be less complex but I figured out how to use. Online resource is well done.

works great, small, OK interface on Windows. a little on the pricey side, but worth it to me. good sound with paired with mic. lots of on-board storage, so micro SD isn't really that necessary unless you can't off-load your audio files regularly. Only problem I've had is that if you carry this around in your pocket it tends to get lint into the unit and eventually will gum up the works. This is my second one for this reason, so now I put it in a plastic baggie for protection.

This is an excellent recorder for the money. Particularly if you are a student and wish to invest in a voice recorder that has a large amount of storage, great recording quality, multiple setting options (for different environment/recording situations) and long battery life. The built-in USB connector feature is a really smart addition. My previous voice recorder had to be hooked to my computer using a separate cable. When I returned home from class, I was always hunting for this cable. Now I do not have to worry about this because this product plugs directly into my laptop! This recorder costs a little more than others. I did my research when shopping for recorders and have been very pleased with this product thus far.

This recorder provide great quality audio. I use this to record for podcasts. Its easy to transfer data to an audio program.

I bought this to use during my college class lectures. It is easy to use and has a switch to make sure it does not accidentally turn on in my book bag. Recordings can be uploaded to my computer.

This tape recorder is one of the easiest to use. It came to us highly recommended for both quality and ease in copying. The control are easy to see and understand. The quality is good. The batteries seem to last longer in this model than in others we've had.

The sound pick-up is very good! Although this model has 2 AAA batteries it is very compact, almost too compact. I am using an eye glasses cover as the carrying/storage case. Set up with iMac is easy but the complete folder/file software is with PC. Easy to learn functionality. Turns on/off quickly. Need headphones for hearing replay clearly. 4G storage is adequate for regular use and to get started. I personally like it and am happy with the purchase. Yes, would recommend!

I love this voice recorder! I have used it for over a year now and it was well worth the price. It is easy to use and works well. It holds a large amount of files before having to transfer or get rid of them, the batteries last a long time before needing to be replaced. It records voices well even when they are at a distance. It has a pause feature which is helpful. The speaker for playback isn't great but doesn't really matter because I use it to record and then transfer files and listen on other devices with better speakers. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a basic voice recorder to record lectures or whatever.

My sis got this for her school so far no complaints also she say it works really good.

This was easy to use and I am not tech savvy. Sony support line was excellent with helping me and answering questions. The 1st one did not record on the SD card. I called Sony to troubleshoot and said it was defective. I exchanged it. It records clearly in a pocket. I was able to transfer easily to computer and jump drive. The recorder has a port that slides out from the bottom to plug into a computer like a jump drive.

I have used this to record audio for a film im working on. It can capture 44.1kHz audio if you select it, and i plugged my rode video micro into the mic input, monitored with the headphone output and the level indicator, then to transfer audio you just slide out usb connector and plug into your pc, audio files are all right there! Great product for the cost!

Got this to record class lectures. Super easy to use, and the built-in USB is a real plus. I also purchased a clip mic, which allows me to make good quality stereo recordings. I don't use the stereo record feature though, since I don't need the bigger files.
