Easy to connect wireless speakers

They are kind of expensive, especially after buying a soundbar and sub. But overall, I think they are a good addition.

If you can walk mount these, or have room for stands to allow placement behind and a little above your usual seating position, they fill in background sounds very well.

The new ones coming out this spring are upfiring also and the should be great. I'm very satisfied with these ones. great sound.

I feel ripped off. Don’t buy these speakers!

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have the Sony Bravia TV, Sony HT -3000 soundbar, Sony subwoofer, and until recently, owned the Sony SA-RS3S Wireless Rear Speakers. Set up was easy. Determined there was nearly zero volume coming from rear speakers. Only remote to control volume is the Bravia remote, which also controls the sound bar and subwoofer. No way to increase volume on Speakers without the entire sound system. Even then the rear speakers were barely audible. Had purchased Geek Patrol policy, but when I went I to the store for help, I was told the ONLY fix was to pay $129 for Geek Squad to come to my house to basically play with the remote. Whey am I required to pay an additional $129 to make brand new $300 speakers audible? What a SCAM! So looking forward to surround sound. Saved money to buy all components, but they’re defective. Awful customer service. I feel ripped off and have returned the speakers.

Our deepest apologies for the issue you have, as Sony, we want to provide you always the best of our products.
We do have some settings we can try in order to check if everything is correct. Try checking the following:
A. Do a handshake:
Unplug all the devices from the Sound Bar and then let's unplug everything from the outlet for at least 2 minutes, after that, connect everything back in.
B. Perform the manual connection:
1 Press HOME.
The home menu appears on the TV screen.
2 Select [Setup] — [Advanced Settings] on the
Home menu.
3 Select [Speaker Settings] — [Wireless Speaker
Settings] — [Start manual linking].
The [Start manual linking] screen appears on the
TV screen.
4 Press LINK on the speaker.
The power indicator of the speaker that had LINK
Pressed flashes twice repeatedly in green.
5 Select [Start].
The manual link starts.
The connecting process appears on the TV screen.
To cancel the manual link, select [Cancel].
6 When [Rear Speaker (R)] and [Rear Speaker (L)]
Display [Connected], select [Finish].
7 Press.
The link is established and the power indicator of
The speakers light in green.
C. Check the volume on the sound bar remote:
The Sound bar remote (RMTAH514U) has the rear speakers volume (+/-) and you can adjust the volume with those buttons.

A necessary addition to the HT-A7000 sound bar
