This computer case has a simple, sleek design that fits my computer like a glove. Although it doesn't function as protection from bumps and drops, it work as a hard shell sleeve for minimal transport.

It’s not fitting exactly to laptop. There will be some part which always have gap. Not worth for money. Also It’s not transparent so my apple logo get hidden.

Protects and goes on easily. This was the only one that fit my computer- the original one did not... be sure it fits, it said it would on line, but was not correct when it got here. I was able to trade it for this one.

After spending as much for the computer as I did, buying a case to keep the computer from getting scratches was an easy choice. The top of the case could fit a bit better, there is a gap as the top bows out about an eighth of an inch at center of computer. Case snapped on to computer simple and easy. Computer closes just fine. Case seems to be ventilated as well as the computer. All in all this one does what it is supposed to.

I can't say that this will save your MacBook Pro 15 (2016/17) if you drop it from any height, but it offers basic protection from scratches, dings, dents, scuffs. Being very careful with my equipment anyway, basic protection was what I exSpeckted. It's a good color, snaps on top & bottom (2 pieces), provides a bit more grip than when holding the MacBook without it, and it was on sale for nearly half-price. A no brainer.

This has done a good job of fitting my MacBook Pro and protecting it from scuffs and scratches. It doesn't fit quite as well as I'd like and has some flex in the case. It also is thick enough that I've found some of my dongles that take both ports don't fit well.

It's nice to have a case that protects my Mac from scrapes and scratches - Apple Care is for when you drop it. I just like keeping my stuff looking new. The case looks great on my Mac but it doesn't quite fit right on the top cover. Feels like it's too big. Until I find a better product, this will suffice.

It isa nice case that protects the computer. I think it is light and east to assemble.

I had a speck clear case on my late 2011 15" MBP, when I got this new one I thought I might want the same. They only had the black color, which I bought because at least it was something. Ew. First off, the black made it look like an ugly windows pc. Second, it made it look like a cheap windows pc. Third, it demolished the beautiful sleek look of the Mac. Third, it fit loosely and increased bulk; it did not fit flush with the computer and felt like it might fall off (the top especially). If you're buying an amazing machine like this for a child, I could see the value in a case like this but otherwise don't ruin a great thing. I bought a decal/sticker thing that has a clear matte finish. It protects the bottom and sides from scratches. I would have put it on the lid too except without a cut-out for the Apple logo it didn't look as classy. You have to look hard to see that there are stickers on my Mac and it doesn't add any bulk. Perhaps a clear matte finish of the speck case would have a substantially different review, but for some reason Best Buy only carries black. Speck still makes great products, but this one was a miss for me.

Good for protection but you can’t plug in adapters to the computer when the bottom half is on. Somewhat annoying.

I bought this only to protect my MacBook Pro from scratches. I wish Best Buy carried more rugged cases for MacBooks, but wanted to ensure I protected my investment immediately. I'm glad the item was on sale because I feel the MSRP of $49 is a bit high for what it is, but I will give 4 stars for what it is.

Fits great and does its job but doesn’t let you plug in adapters securely

I looked everywhere online and went to the apple store to find a protective case for my MacBook Pro with touch bar. Since this laptop is thinner other MacBook cases are too big and do not fit. This fit perfectly and to my knowledge is the only case out there for the 15” with touch bar.

I've used many Speck cases in the past for my MacBooks. They've all been great. This one is mostly as good, but as mentioned in other reviews, there is some "slack" or space on the top lid cover. I've never had an issue with the cover falling off, but when grabbing the lid the extra space can make it feel a little flimsy. Otherwise, I'd give the case 5 stars.

I have had a few Specks over the years. Durable and keep the MBP from scratches. However this version (2017 MBP 15) does not fit flush with the lid. There is a significant gap between the case and the exterior screen side.

it covers my MacBook as expected. Nothing special.

The facts are this cover is very sleek looking but a bit impractical because of the design. You must take off bottom cover before you add a USB adapter, which is a bit cumbersome. The Apple rep suggested it be cut but that doesn’t allot enough space.

I had a cover before but taking it off and pitting back on the cover due taking small repair issues the cover broke. So I had to by another one just because its a great protecting cover for my apple computer. Thank you

I like the slim design of the case, but was sold the wrong size multiple times. Once I had the right one, it fit perfect and the protection promised was delivered!

This case serves its function; I am constantly on the go and it gives me security to be able to throw my laptop into my purse without worrying about it becoming scratched or damaged. I accidentally bought the retinal sized case online, but Best Buy was very accommodating with helping me to exchange this for the correct size! I would like to see more variety in the colors for the 15" MacBook pros though, because they only come in a few colors compared to the 13". Also, the top part of the case is not a snug fit to the flat surface of the laptop, which causes it not lay flat, but I think it was designed that way. However, I am very satisfied with my purchase.
